This week's smiles.....week 495

It's been another busy week for me....I've had a couple of days busy with customers and the rest of my week I've filled with Charity makes....bunting and reversible bags...and I'm loving using my time to hopefully raise funds for a great cause.  I've had lots to smile about and I've got a pic or two to share with you...

This is a photo of Louie playing with a fabric ark I made for the twins....It makes my heart sing watching these things being shared between the grandchildren.

The other news is he has starting crawling this week. :-)

I found this mug on the internet and it said everything to me....I retire in October this year in 10 month 10 days [not that I'm counting  :-)].
I have no plans to stop sewing but there are some jobs I will be giving up...I can be selective can't I ?

Of course it wouldn't be Friday without a few funnies so here you go.
I hope you've found something here to make you smile and will now leave me a little message before linking to your own smiles.
Hugs,
Annie x

Goodness. It wasn't to long ago Louie was learning to sit up by himself. Now he is starting to crawl. Remind me how old he is? He's amazing, as is Theo.

Some of your funnies are hilarious. I love the Amazon funny and the skeleton. However, that one is really too true to be funny. I spend far too long getting those bags open to put my fruit in. I also laughed at Mama's boy. He was a bit big to be carrying around, but it was still cute.

Have a super rest of the weekend and a great Friday. Only 10 and 10 to go! Something to definitely look forward to.

Another lovely post Annie. I can't imagine you ever retiring, but being 'selective' sounds like a plan.
Fancy Louie crawling already. He is a few months older than our lttle Reuben, but he is already rolling over and sitting unaided. They aren't babies for long these days, especially when they have older brothers to watch.
I love the mug. How perfect!
Your funnies always make me smile. I have sort of got round the 'baggie' problem by buying some drawstring net bags for my veggies. Now I just have to remember to take them with me when I go shopping! Kate x

Hi Annie, it's lovely to see how little Louie is progressing. The cup made me smile but I would have to change the wording a bit as I have hardly done any sewing since retiring. I still love it but just needed a rest from it but you're right we can pick and choose. Loving the funnies but will be back later for a better look, we have to go and see my mum today as they had to take her in hospital last night. My life seems to be in chaos at the moment one way or another. Take care and have a lovely weekend. Hugs Angela xXx

That sounds like a great busy and the pic of your Grandson is cute.
Here we also give "down" to the younger ones.
Your mug looks great! I have a sewing machine, but... can only do the very basics... Plan in mind!

The woodpecker is my fav!
And the darn plastic bag!!! LOL I HATE those!
Yes. Why bother, just fall into what´s in your way... I feel (luckily) old! To Smiles!

Lovely pic of Louie. Those fabric books are great. They will be handed down even more in years to come.
The mug is absolutely perfect for you! And it is beautiful too. Semi-retired sounds good. Only selected jobs. I hope you will continue to do memory bears. I would probably want to order one, once I have decided which garment to use.
The funnies are hilarious. The one with the plastic bag is so true. I used to struggle with that but because I don't want to add even more plastic to the environment, I have bought those net things. I keep them in my bag and they go in the washing machine when they get a bit grubby. They come in different sizes.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

why is it so heartwarming to see that cozy little boy so engrossed in his toy? He reminds me of me huddled around my machine!

It seems only five minutes since Louis was born. He's just shooting up. You're retiring this year, how fabulous. You're going to enjoy the extra time to sew what you like, when you like. Well done on all the charity sewing - I'm sure your going to raise tons. I'm sure Silver was at the Amazon meeting! Hugs, Ellie xx Yes, I'm still here, just struggling to find time for my hobbies right now. xx
