Hello all. I hope you've all had a good week. I haven't had many customers this week but enough to keep me ticking over. Of course I've not been sat doing nothing.....

This week's smiles....week 361
Here we are at another catch up with the smiles from the last week.....I've had to look a little harder this week but here you go...
On Sunday morning we went for a walk at Attingham Park to see the snowdrops....arent they gorgeous?
We had a visit from this gorgeous white dove this week....and that always makes me smile.

WOYWW....
Good morning all. I hope I find you all well and happy this Wednesday. I've had a couple of customers this week and have repaired the sleeve on a blouse and shortened a couple of pairs of jeans so far but have Memory bears on their way through the post :-)
This has given me a little time to be creative [if only I can get motivated lol].

This week's smiles....week 500
Another week and lots more smiles....thankfully. I hope you've all had a week filled with smiles too. I have lots of photos to share with you this week so I will make a start.
We had another walk around Attingham Park at the weekend and what a difference a couple of weeks makes....what was a hint of white the last time we went is now a beautiful blanket of white.
My boys went to watch Shrewsbury town play football on Saturday ...I love this photo of Mark and Stephen. The men have decided Stephen should go every week because they always win when he goes :-)
Little Louie is growing so quickly. He thought it was funny that he could stand up under our kitchen table and we all had a good giggle at him ordering his Chinese for tea off the menu.
I love how the sun has opened up this beautiful crocus in our garden and I even took a photo of our snowdrops using my phone but look how it came out.....
I'm not sure what happened but when you love rainbows like I do you you treasure happy errors like this one.
I normally keep the sharing of my Memory bears for a Wednesday but these two are rather special and it's far more appropriate that I share them here. They are made in memory of Lisca's husband Graham and they were very special to make.
He was a lovely man and I felt very honoured to be asked to make them. I really hope they bring lots of comfort to Lisca and her family.
Of course it wouldn't be a Friday without a few funnies...I hope you enjoy the ones I've found this week.
Hugs,
Annie x

This week's smiles...week 498
Hello all and a very happy Friday to everyone. It's been a busy one for me here at Sewing by Annie's but I'm not complaining [well, I'm not now I've finished the latest bag full of factory trousers :-) ]. Work has been very busy with a steady flow of customers bringing me their sewing and many of them have been ones that needed a chat and catch up too [cos it's not just a sewing business I run here lol.]
Saturday we had our son, Mark and his two gorgeous boys here for a catch up and lunch then our son in law dropped Stephen off so that my hubby, Mark, Stephen and Theo could go to watch Shrewsbury Town play football. Louie stayed with me until his mummy could pick him up and them Amy dropped Phoebe and Lulu off so all us girls could have a catch up before I had my afternoon of sewing with Phoebe and Lulu [photos on Wednesday's post].
Here's Stephen with his little cousin, Theo ready to watch the football.
Sunday, my hubby and I took Milly for a walk to see the snowdrops at Attingham Park...they are all coming out now but will be a better show by next week.
Tuesday morning we had a fun play time with Louie.....he's teething and was rather clingy with his Grandad but, as you can see, they did manage a nap together. Louie is 9 months old now and wont be long before he starts walking.
Sam has been enjoying designing on his Ipad and really has a talent for it...this is his Grandad and their dog Reggie.

This week's smiles....week 458
Hello all. It's been a busy week here at Sewing by Annie's and I've had lots to smile about. I hope you've had a good week and have lots to share with us by linking up at the bottom of the page.
I've been snapping pics around the garden and there's certainly lots more signs of Spring shooting up and that always makes me smile. The tulips are shooting up all over the garden, the snowdrops are now showing their faces and there are several Primroses now in bloom.
The only other things I have to share with you today are these funnies I found on Facebook.
I hope something there makes you smile....they did me.
Please leave me a little message so I know you've called by and if you can then link to your own smiles below.
Hugs,
Annie x

This week's smiles ....week 409
It's been a week of mixed emotions with losing our dear friend Shaz but I just know she would say that life must go on so now is my time to focus on what's made me smile this week.
Firstly we have invested in a treadmill and I have used it every day this week....I've started slowly and increasing a little each day....it's got to be good for me.
Tuesday my darling hubby had his Covid vaccine and I have mine later today...so there must be light at the end of the tunnel.
Sam has always enjoyed drawing so for his birthday we bought him proper pencils and sketch book. He's been putting it to good use and this week he sent me a photo of the latest drawing he had done. He's been learning to shade and I really think this is brilliant.
I'm certain dogs pick up on our moods because Milly has needed to be close to me this week. I was sat sewing so she couldn't get on my knee so she has sat across the gap between the settee and my chair with her head on the arm of my chair....I love her so much.
In the far corner of our back garden we have a pile of old logs and our wormery and our snowdrops have been blooming their hearts out...they seem to have shot up everywhere this year and always make me smile being the first signs of Spring....my favourite time of the year.
Finally here's a few funnies to make you chuckle...
I hope you have found something to make you smile and will share the things that have been making you smile by linking them below....everyone is welcome.
I would like to send my love to Lisca and her hubby out in Spain. Lisca's hubby is in hospital waiting for surgery so I really hope that comes soon and he makes a good recovery afterwards.
Hugs,
Annie x

This week's smiles....week 405
We've got through another week of lockdown and I'm still smiling....I hope you are too.
There are signs of Spring popping up in every corner of our garden and that is definitely something to smile about....I love Spring.
I've had flowers through the post this week and that really made me smile. I love freesias especially and even had them in my Wedding bouquet a few years back.
Life in lockdown for the family is far from easy when homeschooling has to be fitted in with full time work but I am really loving the photos I am being sent....This is my baby boy with his baby boy :-)
And finally here's a few of the funnies that have had me chuckling this week...I hope they will make you smile too.

This week's smiles....week 355
And finally here's a funny Amy sent me this week. I have a new fit bit to keep and eye on how much exercise I'm getting and she thought this was a good tip for increasing my step count.....I'm thrilled to say I've now lost a stone in weight :-)

This week's smiles.....week 304
- Mr Mojo has returned from his holiday and that's given me lots to smile about....I've been feeling creative.
- I've made my first three Memory bears of the new year and that's really made me smile.
- Spring is fast approaching [ I know cos I've seen the signs] and that always make me smile.
Here's my first three Memory bears of 2019...the one was for the young lady who won my Christmas bear but her two sisters asked to have matching bears made for them too....in memory of their much loved mum who died far too soon.
I love my job. :-)
