WOYWW...

Here we are at another Wednesday catch up with our WOYWW freiends from around the world....my fav day of the week.  It's been another busy week for me and today I will be plouging through another pile of factory trousers to put new zips in....not my favourite job but the funds will go towards Christmas and I have enough of jobs I love doing to balance it all out thankfully.

On my desk today is the last 4 Christmas cards I have left...they are all made and posted now so I can move onto other things.
The pile of fabrics at the back are 5 more advent calendars to make ready for next year....if you saw my post on Wednesday you will have seen that I will need to make at least one by then :-)....exciting times.
I try to make a few each year for others that don't sew to make memories with the little people in their lives and this year I sold the 3 I'd got within an hour of putting them on my Sewing by Annie Facebook page.
There is also a teddy cut out to make for my Christmas gift draw over on my Facebook page...I do this every year as a thank you for my followers so keep a look out if you'd like to get your name in the draw.

I'm doing a bit of knitting....it's slow progress as I can only do it when my arthritis allows but I'm loving the colours and there's no rush.

The other thing I can now share with you is the baby blanket I'm crochetting with my new hooks.  Every row or two is a different pattern and I love the way the colours are working together.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and will leave me a little comment so I know you've called in.  I will do my best to pay you a return visit in between my sewing jobs.
Hugs,
Annie x

Well done on selling the Advent Calendars so quickly-there will be some happy faces this morning when they are hung ready for
treats! I’ve been very busy prepping makes for my craft group that I’ve fallen behind with my own makes(again). Happy sewing.

Such great news for Mark and Gina, delighted for you all! The zips…argh, the zips! I wonder if you have to keep telling yourself that it’ll be worth it, it’ll be worth it! The baby blanket is just delicious, it’s like a sampler and will be so well used. Thrilled about the advent calendars, have been at Lynne’s this morning and she’s happily creating a tradition for two little girls, lovely stuff.

Putting zips in sound horrendous but if it’s worth it….your knitting looks lovely and the colours in the blanket are great. I love how you’re changing the pattern.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Ooh, those colours on the blanket remind me of whinberry pie with cream. Both are lush!
I am suffering just with my right thumb and arthritis, so painful isn't it and I've only got a little thing with it.
Zips in so many trousers would send me crazy but i guess, it's money and that's what the job is for. Good luck with them.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx

Busy as ever, Annie! How lovely that your advent calendars sold out so quickly - make sure you get a fair price for them though - so much time and effort goes into these hand-made products! Just saw your post from last week - how exciting that a new baby is on the way! Hope all goes well for the rest of the pregnancy - it's a happy and worrying time in equal measure - and the happiness and worry just escalates after they're born - and then we never stop worrying about them! I was glad about the snow but it disappeared in a few hours - but then we had some more a few days later. I'm hoping for a white Christmas! Happy December! xx zsuzsa #18

Well done with the cards Annie, hoping to get mine finished today now mum's jobs are done. Loving the knitting too. I think these zips can't have been put in very well if you are having to fix so many of them but it's all work and payment I guess. Have a lovely woyww. Hugs, Angela xXx

Lovely post, Annie. So nice to be able to anticipate another little one on the way. The little cardie is lovely and the blanket is gorgeous too. I love the colour combination and the different stitch patterns make it unique. Everybody is putting me to shame by getting their Christmas cards up-to-date. I need to schedule an hour or two soon, very soon, to get mine written up ready for posting. Oh, and how organised are you, making advent calendars for next year!!! Happy WOYWW, happy December and have a great week. Hugs, Ellie, x #21
