There's not many more Wednesday now before Christmas and I've only today and 4 more days to work before I can have a well earned rest.....everyone seems to want sewing done at the last minute so I will be head down sewing all day today.

I have now done the fronts of 6 more Advent calendars for next year....they just need their wadding, backing and hangers now so I will probably finish then off after Christmas.

Some have flat pockets and some have pleated pockets and the one in the bottom right has pleated pockets with flaps over the a different amount of work for each one but I really enjoyed making them all.

I'm enjoying a week of making more Memory bears.

These are the first set made from a Mum's fleece dressing gown so they are soft and cuddly.

I'm making two more from a Grandma's favourite pink cardigan and I have another Memory bear and a rabbit arriving this morning.

The other thing I plan to make is a couple of new masks using a pattern Catriona emailed to me.....if only I can get my customers sewing finished first of course.

That's all from me for today.  I will do my best to visit all I can in between my seing jobs.

The advent calendars are lovely and am sure they’ll be snapped up. Those masks are good to wear and surprisingly quick to run up, they’re good for not fogging up specs as well!

The advent calendars are gorgeous and I'm super impressed that you are working on them for next Christmas - that's what I call organised! The Memory bears are lovely, especially with the eye-catching bright pink bows. Your break will be very well earned!
Hope you have a great week,

The advent calendars are really gorgeous. I particularly loved the one with mixed up numbers so you have to look for the date. It is handy to have pleated pockets though so you can fit a bit more into them.
People must so love your memory bears. A granny’s favourite cardigan one must feel like a hug from herself.
Hope you get some rest soon
Take care, stay safe and happy WOYWW

Hi Annie, the advent calenders look very festive pictured together like that. And those fluffy bears are lovely, very cuddly. Who would have thought this time last year that we'd still be needing and wearing masks a year on. I know you've been really busy so you deserve this break coming up. Have a good week. What a talented duo you and your sister are. Was one (or both) of your parents talented like this too? Just been admiring Jo's Twiddler and then I see your Advent Calendars and they are beautiful. Especially the one on the bottom right with the pleated pockets and the flaps.
Looking at your memory Bears I was wondering what the total is to date - you need to have a little counter on the side to tell us as each time one is made it goes up a notch. (not a clue how you would do it mind you).
Good luck with the mask making - looks as if we will all be needing more new ones at the rate this Omicron one is going.
Hugs, neet 6 xx

Hi Annie, don't ask where I've been but I've only just got round to opening the laptop. It's interesting that you've made the advent calendars for next year as I believe I may have my design for next year's Christmas card........ providing I don't change my mind before then. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x14x

Lovely advent calendars. I have a hem to take up, actually got it pinned and ready for when we get back. I am sure I will get more wear out of it shorter. It was practically to the floor! Happy WOYWW Angela #11

Great idea making the Advent calendars now-I still have one from two years ago to make up! Hope you like the masks when you have made them-they are certainly the most comfortable we have worn. Happy sewingđź’•
