This week's smiles....week 149

Here we are at another catch up of our smiles from the last week.  Many thanks to all who joined in again last week.  I do so enjoy seeing all that makes you smile each week so please keep up the good work.

I am featuring Angela's post over at Felix the Crafty Cat from last week with her fab photos of Santa with real reindeers.....aren't they gorgeous?  Thanks for sharing Angela.

I am sharing Bob the Elf's adventures from this last week.  He's such a little monkey.  He was caught by Buzz Lightyear and Woody trying to take the baubles off the Christmas tree and had to be restrained.  He had been over here to Sewing by Annie's one night and taken my Mitzy Monkey with him and the two of them were found on a festive swing the next morning.  He's been found covered in stickers, impersonating Spiderman and has found several places to sleep.  What fun he is having!!

We were lucky enough to get to see Phoebe and Lulu in their school Christmas plays again this year.  Little Lulu was the lead roll in hers, being the Inn Keeper and even had to sing a solo [tissues came in handy!].  Phoebe was one of the ladies who had travelled from the east and her dancing was simply full of Eastern Promise....I would say her dancing was the best by far [but of course I am rather biased].
We were so very proud of them both and came away glowing.

Every morning Bob the Elf has left something for Sam and Lexi to make/do each day and here you can see them busy crafting......

....and here you can see Sam very proudly showing off what they each made.  What  lovely nativity scenes they both made.

I really love seeing all my little grandchildren being creative.

That's all I have to share with you today.  Please share your smiles by linking them up below and I will do my best to pop over to check them out ASAP.
Thanks for your efforts to make the world a happier.
Hugs,
Annie x

Thank you for introducing me to Bob the Elf. He certainly is an active little chappie. And the fact he leaves something out for the children to make is really good. I'm sure they love 'making things'. The nativity scenes are beautiful. I also liked seeing 'Innkeeper' and 'Eastern Promise'. So beautifully dressed with gorgeous smiles. I can see your week has been really good.

Aww Bless! Your Grandees look wonderful and I love the Nativity scenes. I have three out right now as they are the first thing that I get out on Advent Sunday!!
As you will see from my post, I do not need a naughty Elf!! Fergus was bad enough. No joke this week, just smiles!! Well needed after recent times.
Hugs

Hi Annie, loving Bob he's so cute and very good at keeping the little ones busy. He would get on well with a little friend of mine whose name is BP Mini Me, he's not been out much recently as he prefers it when there's no one around especially the dogs. You asked about their breed and they are Miniature Schnauzers though Stan is a bit bigger than average but we love him all the same.
You are very lucky to have such gorgeous small people around you and it's a pleasure to see them making such lovely things. Thanks for featuring my blog this week too and big hugs, Angela xXx

Yeah, Bob the Elf has cousins in the USA....seems they are creating the same kind of fun and mischief as yours. So fun to see the little ones and their traditional makings.Kids always need little projects to learn new things. Unusually warm here and heavy rain on the way. Have a great weekend, and thanks for hosting.

I wish I'd known about the Elf and his antics... it would be too late ot get and post to my grandies this year but he's a must for next Christmas. Super post and good to see what a couple of the Munchkins are up to. Didn't join in today as I've been bag packing in Sainsbury's for CHICS cancer support group today.

I saw a good pic on Pinterest ..... there was a toilet roll dropped down the full length of the stairs and the Elf was sitting on it at the bottom!

My word. Aren't those twinnies growing up? Sam looks so much older in that last photo. I love the escapades of Bob the elf, and leaving something each day for the little ones to make, is such a clever idea.
I always loved going to the children's school plays. There is so much effort goes into such productions, and I wouldn't have missed any of our boys for anything.
I love the little Nativity scene. Well done to each of them. Kate x
