WOYWW....

What's on my work desk today?....can't even get to it to show you today sorry cos we have the plumbers in putting in the new radiators.  They have drained the heating system and turned the boiler off so for the past two days I've had no heating.....brrrrrrrr.  Hopefully by the time you are reading this they will have finished and have fired up the heating again.

So my pics today are...

One of me I took yesterday....the twins were concerned that Nanny Annie had no heating so Sam brought me a tin of soup for me to have for my lunch to warm me up on the inside and Lexi loaned me her snuggle blanket to keep me warm on the outside.  They are such funny bunnies ....I love them to bits and made them chuckle with my pic.

And this was the pic to show you what I've been doing to keep out of the plumbers way......I'm just like Dori from the film 'Finding Nemo' only in my case it's 'just keep knitting, just keep knitting'  :-)
The other thing I've been keeping busy with is my new mini Ipad I was treated to for my birthday....we have been becoming quite good friends and, with the help of my IT assistant [my son Mark] have managed to set it up just the way I like it.  Pinterest has taken quite a hammering already :-)

So folks that's about it from me for today.  Short and sweet just the way Julia likes it.  Please leave me a little hello message to let me know you've called by and I will do my best to return the visit ASAP.  Please note I do read the blogs of my google+ visitors but am unable to leave them a comment.  Sorry.
Hugs,
Annie x

Ha, that selfie of you made me smile! It's not that cold at the moment, but houses seem to be danker when there's no heating on. Hopefully you'll be toasty warm today :-)

Great photo, Annie. Love the snuggly blanket! Well done the youngsters - ensuring granny keeps well for lots of fun play times.
Hope all is soon working as it should be.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Annie, love the 'cozy' pic of you....cool over your way and now here we are warming up...lots - we need the tropical rains but they just go around us, so it's muggy. Nice you can keep busy with some knitting and hope now that you have the heating back on. Enjoy your week RobynO#28

Great photo of you relaxing. Seems the house here is colder now than it is outdoors. 70's here yet don't know why but I'll enjoy it. Pretty blue yarns too. And our flowers are still in bloom also. TV here is not enjoyable unless my sports are playing. So we use our IPads a lot in the PM. Have a great day, hope you soon will be back to normal.

Oh so sweet! A hot cup of soup and a snuggle blanket! Just what the doctor ordered on a cold day. Great selfie BTW.
I'm only a tad envious about your IT man. I wish I had a IT savvy youth nearby. I'm going to ask around in the village. Someone somewhere must know someone....
Thanks for visiting earlier,
Have a good week,
Lisca

We've been without heating for the last couple of days too - it's being fixed right now! Even though it's quite mild down here I feel colder in the dark, wet evenings! You certainly look snuggly and warm, and I hope your plumbers are soon finished!
Have a great week,

Hi Annie,

You do look nice and toasty! How thoughtful of the little ones to be concerned about their Nanny Annie!

Hmm, I don't have an ipad but pinterest still takes a beating on my smart phone!! Now if I made even a quarter of what I pinned I would be one busy person with no time to eat and sleep! Lately I've been focusing on real estate pins and staging pins. It's been interesting reading; getting myself ready to sell in hopefully two years. I thought I was ready now but decided to move to Santa Fe and that would be a commute to work so am waiting for retirement. We'll see how it all comes together!

I'll be joining in on Friday.

Hugs,
Kay

I hope you are now warm and toasty! You have wonderful grandchildren! (I can't wait for some of my own!) I too, use up a lot of my time on Pinterest, and I also try to make things (mostly recipes) as much as I can from my Pinterest stash! Lindart #54

Hi Annie, ooh, I'm shivering for you! I hope that by the time you read this your heating will be back on again. The twins are a delight - how lovely of them to think of you as they did. I don't have an ipad but I do have one of those new-fangled phones and hate it ... I think I will stick with my computer - we know each other so well :) Your knitting looks pretty. Have a great week. That's so sweet of the twinnies. We haven't had our heating on since March! It won't be long now though, I resorted to socks in the house today.

My work table is in pieces in our old house and as for my blog it hasn't seen a glimmer since you last popped by. This moving and renovating business is jolly hard work, I am constantly tired and in a fugg of what to do next and what goes where and how will I ever be able to get a decent kitchen in the space we have. It will all come together but for now I am enjoying a night catching up on all my favourite blogs. ;)
