This week's smiles....week 406

I've had another week with virtually no work so I've enjoyed filling my time making Luna Lapin's friends and making their tiny clothes....check out the post below if you'd like to see the latest.

I've been out in the garden where there are signs of life springing up everywhere so I snappy a few photos for you...

Although everywhere is rather wet and mucky from being under a blanket of snow for several days but there are bulbs shooting up through the earth everywhere.  This always makes me smile but more so this year....Spring is on it's way wahooooooo.

Home schooling continues for all our Grandchildren...everything from designing an Anglo Saxon village map so science experiments to see the effects of different liquids on egg shells.

It's hard work home schooling 3 different aged children all doing different lessons and working full time to run a busy printing business too but Amy is doing a great job.....everything from studying Islam and building a space rover to a full day of on line lessons for Phoebe including English, Maths, Spanish, Geography etc etc.

Theo has had busy days too...building a castle, making chain linked snowmen and painting snow out on his builders tray.

We had a good covering of snow at the weekend so I was sent lots of photos of the children building snowmen and having fun in the snow.

Finally here's a few funnies to make you smile....

I haven't got to this stage yet but it did make me smile.

Here's one for all the home schooling parents when exhaustion sets in. :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles for this week and will share your smiles by linking up below.

Hugs,

Annie x

I barely stayed awake long enough to link. I'll be back later for smiles.

Good morning Annie
You’re my first port of call this morning as a smile is always guaranteed.
I’m going to nip into the garden myself after to see if we have snowdrops yet. They are so pretty and a sign of better days to come.
I knew there’d be a update on your little gang, they are doing so well and it’s wonderful that they send you updates.
My heart and prayers go out to all the children, parents and teachers.
No post from from me as yet after my marathon market day one yesterday.
I’m as enchanted with all your lovely new creations as you Annie. I hope Tilly doesn’t take a fancy to them heehee.
Take care lovely friend

So lovely to see all those happy, hard working kids - they all deserve a medal - as do their mums and dads coping with all the schooling etc. Great funnies - do you think there is a pattern for the suit/suite combo - lol!! xxx Jo

Hi Annie, just got back from walking dogs and about to do some ironing. Pleased to see the children working hard maybe some parents will start to appreciate the teachers a bit more now they are having to do home schooling but your lot are lucky because their parents are keen and I fear some may not want to be bothered with all this. Children are very adaptable and just need a bit of encouragement. I have to say the work they are doing looks brilliant, wish I could join in. Lovely photo of everyone in the snow too. Sending happy thoughts. Hugs, Angela xXx

Your garden certainly has a fair bit of new life springing up. How lovely.
Well done to all the children and their parents. They all seem to be coping so well, and even if they are missing their friends, they at least have each other. It is a very difficult time for them all, but I suspect there are lot who are worse off then they are. I am sure not all parents are as dedicated or even capable of encouraging them so much.
At least you have had time to work on some of your own projects. I am glad you are keeping well. Kate x

I'm sorry to hear you still have no work. I hope it will get better soon.
How wonderful to see the children working hard and enjoying their work. The parents deserve medals as it must be so difficult to juggle everything. One of ours is a teacher and there was place for only one of her children in school, so she is doing live lessons all day, one day a week she has to physically go to school and hubby is working from home in his office and then they have still one 8 yr old at home. Crazy!
Painted snow! That is a new one for me.
Your funnies made me laugh. That last one is very crafty.
Have a lovely weekend,
Stay safe,
Hugs,
Lisca

I’m leaving this generic message so you don’t think I’m a flake. I didn’t feel good Friday, and when I woke, the entire area around the eye that got damaged last summer had swollen so badly, I couldn’t open it. After speaking with the vision specialist, the soonest I can get in is Monday morning. I am not to wear the eye patch I was given in case it might exacerbate the swelling, but I am to take the eyedrops I was given from before. Thanks for understanding why I haven’t been to visit you.
