This week's smiles....week 348

Oh what a lovely week it's been here at Sewing by Annie's.  I'm being kept busy with festive makes for my customers and for me and the family...and you know just how much I love being kept busy.

We have managed 2 weeks of twice weekly gym visits and next week we will be increasing it to 3x weekly....it's still more like torture to me but I'm managing a pretty good workout each time I go now so hopefully it will be doing me good.

I have a few photos to share with you of my family...and you know how much they make me smile...

Tuesday morning saw our usual visit from little Theo....he's such a creative little man and loves building with Lego or his K'nex [even though both are for age 5 and over!] and is enjoying Christmas crafts now too.....it's such a lovely age.

Tuesday early evening Steve had his football club [hence the football kit] and the girls came to spend an hour or more with us because it was such a wet evening and their daddy was busy this week.
As you can see, we set up our Christmas tree and the girls really enjoyed decking it for us [Steve insisted on putting a few bits on before he left for football].
It's so lovely to see the girls working together and checking out each little Christmas tree decoration as they put them on the tree....so many of our decorations hold very special memories for me.

Last Saturday Phoebe, Lulu and Steve joined many of their friends to a crafting day that the mum's organise each year.....It's so lovely to see them all crafting and creating together.

Finally I'm giving you a sneaky peep at the little Christmas bear I've made for my Sewing by Annie Facebook Page Gift draw this year......don't forget to keep an eye out and to get your name down to be in with a chance to win him.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you've found something to make you smile and will leave me a little comment before linking up to your own smiles below.
Hugs,
Annie x

Well done on the gym visits especially when you are so busy. The bear is fab-u-lus and a lucky winnere will be so happy to own him. My travelling bear is now in the house because it’s too cold outside for him. Catriona

I am impressed with you going to the gym. Well done. You will find it gets easier with time and you will start to enjoy it. Make sure it is not all weights and machines. Do something fun too like Zumba or Jazz aerobics or something you can have a laugh with the other ladies (and chaps). Weight loss will be slow to start with as that little bit of fat you have will have to turn into muscle before you lose any weight. (muscle is heavier than fat). But keep going and we won't recognize you!
What a cute little bear! I will go and put my name down too.
It's wonderful to see the children doing their crafting and Theo is quite dextrous for his age playing with construction toys. Well done Theo. An engineer in the bud?
To answer your question about what I do with my postcards.... Nothing. I have them in a box and in a drawer. I don't take off the stamps or use the cards for crafting. I just like to look at them occasionally. I have them all scanned onto my hard drive and I can access them anytime I want.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Lovely happy pictures with all the children. You are ahead of me with your tree. Mine doesn't come out until 1st December or the week after, but of course, they do stay up until after Three Kings.
I love your little bear. I am sure you will get lots of entries for that.
I like the idea of the children's craft day. What a nice thing for the parents to do.
Love Kate x

Hi Annie, the little bear is so sweet, love him and it's great to see the children all working together on their crafty day. You asked about the garland so I had a closer look. The fruit are plastic but the flowers are like thin curled wood and the leaves feel similar too. Hope you have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx

Hi Annie, what a lovely smiley post. So lovely to see the children decorating the tree too. I can't imagine a child that doesn't have fun doing that. Little Theo is showing signs of being an engineer when he grows up. Love your Christmas bear too. Good to see you're sticking at the gym visits even if it seems a stretch too far at times ... it will be worth it when you are all fit and toned! Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Ellie xx
