WOYWW....

Hello all.  I've been missing in action really since Boxing day.  We have both had a ***** Winter bug and are still struggling to fight it off but for the first time today I am daring to say that I maybe it is on it's way out....we have done many Lateral flow tests, all negative and as in the middle of it all I was bullied into going to see my Dr [you know who you are ;-) ]it was suggest that we both did PCRs....the results took 4 days to get back but thankfully those were negative too.  The Dr said she was sure it was just a virus and although I was coughing day and night my chest was clear.

Enough about all that!!  It's a New Year and I must wish you all a happy AND HEALTHY 2022.  Lets hope these viruses all move on and we can return to a little nearer normal life.

I have very little to share with you today as I havent even been up to being creative [not the holiday I had planned!!].

I spent yesterday printing off new fliers with the first price rises for 10 years....I thought it was about time :-)

I also shortened these tweed trousers by 3" with turn-ups.

I have many jobs promised this week but will be taking it all in and pacing myself slowly to get it done as and when I feel up to it......lack of sleep is just so exhausting!!

Hugs,

Annie x

Happy new year Annie. It’s seems we have been in tandem with illness over the holidays. I tested positive on Boxing Day and boy do I not want it again. I’ve never been so fatigued in my life, so like you nothing has been done.
Fingers crossed we are back on full steam soon dear friend.
Take care

So glad you are a bit better. New Year, new prices - great idea and about time - you work so hard and so well I am sure folks won't mind paying a tiny bit more for a wonderful service. xxx Jo

Happy 2022, hope it’s full of fun and crafting! I’m so sorry you’ve been poorly, there are so many bugs apart from covid going around. You’re doing the right thing to take it easy and get better properly than rushing back into things too soon. Take care!

Hi Annie, glad to hear your still taking it easy. You're wee error with the date will be helping with that. Hmmm ... can't think who would 'bully' you into visiting your doc! Whoever it was has to be congratulated, methinks :) Take notice of LLJ's advice, getting better properly and no rushing back to work. Take things easy. Hugs, Ellie x #28

I really hope you feel better soon but for now you really should take it easy or the virus will drag on. Sending you gentle hugs and wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x20x

Hope you soon begin to feel well again. Once these bugs get a hold of you they won't be shaken off easily.
Maybe in a few weeks time the weather will be ok and you can go and enjoy that camper of yours. Recuperate together.
Happy New Year and Hugs, Neet 2 xx

So glad to hear you are improving, nothing worse than not feeling 100% We use hot whiskey and a tablespoon of honey before bed Honey 3x a day should help and Ginger tea. I'm enjoying quiet WoYWW visits, spent most of the day downstairs redoing a room which was a TERRIBLE storage MESS. Now I can start on Christmas put aways this weekend. Downsizing to small totes as my shoulder can't lift much Wishing you and yours a fantastic 2022 Sunshine and Lollipops will get me thru.

Hello Annie. So sorry you have been so poorly. Hope you soon make a full recovery. We'll done on the price increases. I did that last year when I resumed face to face classes. Didn't find it easy to do though. Take care, stay safe and Happy New Year. Anne x 7

So glad you are recovering, Annie, and that you don’t have a chest infection. Pace yourself, take time to recover and hopefully your strength will return soon. Happy making.x

Hope you are feeling fully fit soon Annie. I think holding prices for 10 years justifies a price rise now. Happy New Year, stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #12

happy New Year Annie, am so sorry that you’ve been so unwell, it’s a hateful time to have to force yourself to be cheerful, I really hope that you both recover fully and without too much interruption, you are so right to allow time. Be strong in that. Price rise overdue and not many can do what you do, although it sounds a bit harsh, I think they either pay your price or they don’t have it done. We used to fret about our pricing structure and as the work started to arrive we relaxed a bit, soon worked out that we were doing quotes for builders who were using our prices to bargain down their existing Joineries, and so we changed them a bit…it was never our intention to prevent others getting work, there’s plenty of it there and people will vote with their feet, huh. Meanwhile, I have to say that the picture of your ‘baby boy’ is wonderful, but I had to adjust my brain a bit to work out that it wasn’t a throwback photo of Doddy! Sending you hugs and Vitamins, let’s hope we can get together this year. Xxxx
