This week's smiles....week 362

Hello all.  I hope you have all had a wonderful week filled with smiles.  I like to spend a little time each week focussing on the happy moments in my week and sharing them with those that like to drop by for a smile....and hopefully will share your own smiles by linking them up below.

These are a few pics that have had me smiling this week....

It's been World book day here last week and our grandchildren have enjoyed dressing up for it :-)
Here's Amy's three...they all love to share their photos with me.

It especially made me smile because Phoebe is wearing the outfit I made for her mummy when she was the genie in aladdin when she was at school...it's been used many times since :-)

Lexi dressed as Thing 2 from Dr Zeus and her best friend at school was Thing 1 :-)
Sam was Harry Potter of course.

I do love that their schools join in the fun of special days.

Shell sent me this photo of their puppy Jet stopping their cat Monty from going out through the cat flap....I think she wanted to play :-)

I snapped this pic of two ducks on the roof of the house behind us on Wednesday...I think even the ducks have had enough of all the floods now!

I saw this on Facebook this week and it really made me laugh....please don't read if you're easily offended.

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles this week.
Hugs,
Annie x

Apart from the first one, your photos wouldn't appear. (I'll re-boot and try again later)
The grandies have grown so much. Look at them! They are so tall too!
The Aladdin outfit looks really good. What are the other two?
Have a great weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Hi Annie. Don't know what's happening but this is the second blog I've seen where several photos are missing. Nice to see the children enjoying their week at school. I'm earlier than usual as we're not where we usually would be but you might work that one out for yourself. We've had a great week with lots more smiles which I'll show you next week. Keep safe and have a happy weekend hopefully with lots more smiles. Angela xXx

Here I am again. I can see clearly now.... (is that a song?)
It's great that schools let them dress up like that. I hope they stipulate that you can only choose a character of a book that you've read. (to encourage them to read). Some children don't need any encouragement. We were bookworms in our family.
I can also read the funny with the double entendre. Very funny. You have to be conversant in English slang to be able to understand them (or some of them anyhow).
Ducks on the roof? Perhaps they are geese? Perhaps they are migrating back into the country. Strange...
I looked at your Wednesday post too. Those bunny clothes are exquisite!
Have a lovely weekend if you can (here everything is closed and cancelled. The motto is: stay at home and wash your hands)
Hugs,
Lisca

Too funny! I love the costumes and the dog blocking the door made me smile ~ I had to resend your "Slips of the tongue" to my sister knowing that she would laugh as hard as I did! Enjoy your weekend & stay well ~

Hi Annie, those shots of the children dressed for World Book Day are precious, and that photo of the puppy blocking the cat flap is too funny. Clever dog. The funnies made me laugh too. Have a lovely weekend Hugs, Ellie xx

What great costumes. I think this is such a fun day and it really encourages the children to enjoy their books.
I smiles at Jet guarding the cat flap. When we still had Charlie he used to do that to the other cats.
Fancy ducks stopping up on a roof. they must be a bit confused.
Your list of 'slips' certainly raised a smile.
Hope you both stay safe this week. Kate x
