WOYWW....

Another week has gone by and I've had a few more customers this week so have things to share with you.

I love that no two days are the same here at Sewing by Annie's.  This week I was brought these details embroidered on a piese of net that I was to transfer to the bottom edge of a Wedding veil.
I had to stitch over each individual letter then had to carefully cut away the excess netting to just leave the lettering....a tricky job that needed a lot of patience.

In between sewing jobs I have got a ball of pretty rainbow yarn out and have been knitting little jointed teddies....I used to knit these about 40 years ago and many of them still hold special memories :-)

I've also made two banana and sultana cakes...they are rather yummy so please help yourself to a slice to have with your coffee.

Monday morning Peggy went to the groomers and is now feeling very proud of her new haircut and wanted me to share it with you. :-)

The other thing I wanted to share with you because I thought they would make you smile.  Our garden is bursting into blooms in every corner so I've snapped a few pics and collaged them for you...I hope you like them.

Hugs,

Annie x

This week's smiles...week 466

Another week has passed and it's been a busy one here at Sewing by Annie's.....so of course I'm smiling.  I'm pleased so say Gina is still hanging in there....not totally uneventful but even spiking a temperature and having to have a trip to hospital for monitoring and having tightenings most days the baby has now reached 37 weeks. ...she is being induced on 11th April if she gets that far.

I have a few photos to share with you of course...

Gina makes a lovely banana cake....because you can make it all in one saucepan...so I asked for the recipe and here's the results.  You are welcome to help yourselves to a slice while you read on [be quick cos there's now only one cake left now as we had a slice each yesterday while Gina was here resting and what was left was sent home with her for Mark and Theo].

My collage of smiles here is of Theo....top two pics are from going to football with his daddy and his grandad.  Bottom left he is baking a banana cake with his mummy and bottom right is of his daisy chain that he is proudly holding up.

Here's the latest collage of flowers from our garden from this week....the trees are coming into bloom and even down to the tiny violets and cowslips they are all filling my days with smiles each day.

Finally here's my latest funnies that I've found to share with you this week.  I hope you have enjoyed my smiles for this week and will leave me a message before you share your own smiles by linking below.
Hugs,
Annie x

WOYWW....

Here we are at another Wednesday...they seem to be flying by don't they?....or is it just me?

This is the day that almost 200 creative folk expose their work/play spaces to the world and then blog hop to see what everyone else has been up to during the week.  If you would like to join in take a picture, put it on your blog and just hop over to Julia's and click to link to your blog.

So? What have I got to show you today?

A mess....my lacy bits all pulled out of their jar cos of course the piece I wanted was right at the bottom of the jar!...always the way eh?

I've started working on the front cover of my fabric book.....and I'm loving it so far.

Some snowflakes I've crocheted for the next batch of Christmas cards I am making.

What is actually on my desk this morning!

Yes, it's b****** curtains.  :-)  I have to make 2 pair of lined curtains and a lined door curtain....what fun!  They aren't huge so hopefully won't take too long.

And cos I've also been busy in the kitchen too I've left out my banana cakes so you can all help yourselves to a slice to have with your morning coffee.

Thanks for calling by today.  If you leave me a comment I will aim to call by at yours in between making those lovely curtains [she says through gritted teeth!].  Have a great week.
Hugs,
Annie x
