I was missing in action last week but hope you all had a wonderful Christmas...we did. It was rather different/hectic this year but many happy memories were made...
I cooked Christmas dinner on Christmas eve so Theo and Louie could enjoy their Christmas with their daddy who is now living with us. Shell, Brent and the twins joined us for Christmas Eve tea and it was really lovely to see the grandchildren enjoying fun time together. Peggy had a Christmas jumper but it didn't stay on for long :-) Bottom middle is a photo taken when my darling hubby stepped up to dress up as Santa for the school Shell teaches at when their usual man rang in sick at the last minute....He did a wonderful job [rather emotional to watch] and gave out pressies to about 80 children. I have a feeling he will be asked back next year too.
Christmas day my dinner was cooked for me by the men in my life...Beef Wellington...and it was really yummy. Why does food always taste better when you don't have to cook it? :-)

Sounds like a great Christmas-time! And a yummy one, too.
The cow and cannibalism sure are my favs. And Alexa, LOL.
Have a great Friday, dear host!
Lovely Christmas memories for you all. Special times.😃
Your son living with you? I'm sorry to hear that. Did I get that right? Are they separating? Oh dear.
I enjoyed seeing the photos. That jigsaw looks interesting. A corner for each child. And the beef Wellington makes my mouth water even though it's morning.
The funnies made me chuckle. I especially liked the art and the artist and also the cannibalism. Very funny.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Sounds like a busy Christmas with all sorts going on but you say it went well so that's all that matters. Love Peggy's jumper she's so sweet. I'll be back later for a better look round as we've got a lot on today. Hugs Angela X
A lovely fun Christmas. I am sorry to hear your son is back living with you but at least his sons got to be with him on Christmas Eve. Dinner looks great. We had a lovely joint of pork with perfect crackling. Yum!
I did smie at the funnies, especially the cannibalism.
Happy New Year, Kate x
