This week's smiles....week 313

Another week has passed and all around me have been things to make me smile so here's my shares for this week....

It's been Red Nose Day here this week and to raise money for the charities our Grandchildren were allowed to go to school like his on Friday...and of course pay for the pleasure :-)

Sam proudly collected his latest batch of badges he'd earned at Beavers and his mummy had the fun of sewing them on his jumper.....well done Sammy.

I well remember the lack of privacy when you have children but this is priceless... when she turned around to use the toilet before the school run this is what Amy saw!

As you can see little Molly puppy is growing fast and has well settled in to her new home now.

Just sometimes when I'm on Facebook I see something that makes me chuckle and as an ex nurse this one amused me so I thought I'd share it with you.

Plus finally just in case nothing has made you smile yet here's a few snaps I've taken of the treasures around our garden at the mo....Spring certainly is bursting out all over here in Shrewsbusy.

I really hope you've enjoyed my smiles this week and will leave me a little comment before linking up to your own smiles below.
Hugs,
Annie x

In the red nose photos, Sam looks shorter than Lexi, while Steve and Lulu look nearly the same height. I see now how I got them mixed up two weeks ago when I ended up thinking Steve and Lulu were the twins. DUH! The sure look cute in their red noses. It's a big deal here in the states, and I had NO idea it was so big in the UK, too.

That photo of the dogs was hilarious. Bleubeard does that to me when I head to the loo, so I got a BIG laugh out of that photo.

Spring has truly arrived in your garden. I'm just beginning to see green and you already have FLOWERS! Awesome.

Have a super Friday and great weekend, dear Annie. Sorry I couldn't link up last Friday. I had no internet, so couldn't play or visit anyone, either.

Such cute red noses! I remember Red Nose Day and it always reminds me of Terry Wogan. He must have presented the Radio 2 Red Nose Day, I can't remember precisely.
I smiled at the dogs standing in the doorway of the toilet. Pipi in company...
The badges are awesome, and well done for sowing them on Sammy. Can you tell me what the badges are for? I mean, what do they have to do to get them? The images do not speak for themselves. (or I'm not awake yet).
The flowers are gorgeous. Yes, spring is here!
I smiled when I saw your funny. Funny enough I saw that one too and I have put it in my post today as you will have seen by now.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

I know that none privacy thing in the bathroom far to well. At one point I had a cat who would lie along the edge of the bath as close to my face as possible.
That’s a lot of badge stitching to be done there. Well done to Sam on all his hard work.
Have a nice weekend Annie xx love to Millie xx

Lovely photos Annie. I chuckled at the cartoon - can you imagine if that was for real - doctors' surgeries would be empty - now there's a thought!!! xx Jo

It's nice to see the children enjoying themselves. I am not a big fan of red nose day. As a teacher I have seen the noses being passed around and cringed at the germs they are sharing. I'm also sad that it takes an initiative like that to encourage people to donate to charity, but there is no denying that they do a lot of good, so I guess that justifies it. Certainly it is helping children to see that not all people are as well off and lucky as they are, so if that motivates them to want to help, that has to be good.
Well done Sam for gaining all those badges. How I hated sewing them on! Badges for beavers, badges for gymnastics, swimming, judo, basketball etc. Each one so precious to them, so they had to be sewn on to towels, jumpers or uniforms.
I did laugh at the two cats at the toilet door. Charlie, the grey cat does it to me, and if I push the door closed, he just opens it again!
I saw the doctor's receptionist one on Facebook, and it made me laugh too.
Your garden is beautiful. I love all the spring flowers. What a lovely variety you have.
Your comment showed last week, so I don't know what happened to the previous one. Kate x

Hi Annie. I am not going to apologise for being late today because I'm sure you know what I've been up to. I know you probably think it's cold here but honestly it's been far from it this week. We've been sitting outside for lunch, the sun has been shining all week and the snow has been great unlike the week before when there was hardly any skiing took place because the weather was awful so we've been really lucky. Total block face cream all week Lol! Now I can see you've had a good week too. Good to see the children joining in with Red Nose Day and little Molly puppy growing. You never have any privacy when you have dogs as they always want to know where you are and what you're doing. I often wonder what goes through their head. The doctors funny is good. I think you need to teach Sam how to sew on his own badges there are so many. Nice flowers too. Better go things to do. Have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx
