This week's smiles.....week 519

Firstly I must say sorry that I didn't manage to get around the blogs last week.....we were away on an adventure down in south Devon in our caravan and the internet at the campsite was poor.  We had a wonderful few days but I was very missed so have come home to a lot of work.

Here are a few snaps we took while away.  We visited Dartmouth, Plymouth, Salcombe to name but a few.  The sun shone all weekend and our batteries were well charged.

We saw some amazing sunsets from sitting out near the caravan and I managed to snap these pics of the sun getting lower in the sky.

As we arrived home and before we put the caravan back on the drive I took a few pics of the bees enjoying the lavender on the front garden.

I snapped these pics of the huge piles of factory trousers that my darling hubby and I had taken all the old zips out of one evening....I took these pics not really because they make me smile but because I wont be doing many more batches of these because.......

.....this arrived this week...it is now official ....I will be able to get my pension on 23rd October 2023.....and that definately made me smile.

I don't plan to stop sewing but I will be stopping doing the factory trousers....and my sore aching hands from doing this latest batch reminds me why.

Our back garden continues to make us smile.....everywhere you look there is something to make you smile.

Of course I have to end with a few funnies....I hope you leave here smiling and will link up at the bottom to share your own smiles of the week.
Hugs,
Annie x

WOYWW.....

Here we are at the last Wednesday catch up before our Crop10 celebrations.  I have lots going on here but sadly not a lot I can share with you as its in preparation for Saturday and I like to keep surprises.

We were away on another little Motor home adventure last weekend so there was a lot of....

...rest and relaxation in the day time in between enjoying lovely dog walks and enjoying amazing sun sets each evening before pulling the blinds down and snuggling up each evening.

I'm sure in a former life Milly was a traveller because she loves the life in the Motor home and really enjoys watching everything going on around her.

There's nothing on my desk I can share so I will just let you know that replacing 39 white buttons with black ones so he can wear them while playing in the band was quite a challenge.....its not all exciting sewing here :-)

The last thing I'm sharing this week is the two lovely ATCs that have arrived with me this week from friends who wanted to share but can't come to the crop on Saturday.  The left one is from Zsuzsa and the one on the right is from Angela....thanks so much both.  I love them both.

That's all from me for this week....I will try to post a smiley post on Friday but I may be a little busy sewing and baking so we will see.  To those coming to the Crop10....see you there.....wahooooooo.

This week's smiles.....week 284

I was missing in action last week but had posted automatically so folks could link up and share their smiles......I will do my best to check out last week's and this weeks smiles today so I don't miss out on all the fun.  I must admit that I was having a well earned few days away visiting some very special friends in Holland.  We have known them since 2000 and hadn't seen them for over 2 years but, as always, it was as if we had never been apart.  We only had a long weekend together but it was really lovely to see the gorgeous new house they had moved to.  They sing and play guitars etc in a group and on the Saturday night they invited everyone around for a BBQ and then we had our own private entertainment.....it was really lovely to meet the rest of the group, make new friends and they even sang Annie's song just for me.

So here's my photos for this week....

Lunch with our friends.....good food, sunshine, special friends....what more could you want?

They made me do it!!  Honest.  I guess the strawberries are healthy?

The sunset while we were enjoying sitting on a boat chatting and eating ice cream.....the end of a really wonderful day.

Reach for the stars my little man.  :-) :-) :-)

This photo really makes me smile.

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles today and will now link up to yours below.  Thanks for joining in the fun each week.

This week's smiles....week 198

Hello all.  Thanks to all who joined in the fun last week.  It really does you good to spend a little time focusing on the good things in the week when times are difficult and I really enjoyed sharing the smiles of my blogging friends too.

I would like to feature Robyn's post from last week with her Christmas wreath on it.  I have to say that it by far topped any wreath we have over here...what stunning little birds.  Thank you for sharing it Robyn....it really made me smile.

I have a few pics to share with you this week.....

This is my little boy with his baby boy....yes Mark you may be 29 years old and a daddy but you will always be my little boy.  Theo is having his first swimming lesson with his mummy and daddy and really loved it.

My little buddy, Milly insists on sitting on my knee while I'm knitting.  She never fails to make me smile....who could resist that gorgeous little face?

And finally I just couldn't resist snapping a pic of a beautiful sunset we had this week.....I actually think the photo doesn't do it justice because the colours were even more vivid in real life.

I hope you like my smiles for this week and will all leave me a little message so I know you've called by and if at all possible will then link up your own smiles below.
