WOYWW....

Hello all.  Hope you've had a good week.  We are here to link up with Julia over at the Stamping Ground and show what's on our desks this week.  If you'd like to know more then just click on the link and why not join in the fun?

You saw the little bear I was working on last week?

Well, here he is finished.  The fluffy fleecy fabric made a really lovely little bear.  Isn't he just gorgeous?  My customer loved him so much that, as there was still plenty of the fabric left in the item of clothing she brought me, she has now ordered two more bears to be made from it for other family members......which I will enjoy making once my order of the woven, iron on interfacing arrives.

The rest of the week I have filled my time in between my customer's sewing with little items using the Laura Ashley samples that Margaret sent for Jo and I to use.....I love a challenge as you know.  So here goes...

Two little hearts to hang up.

5 little lined, zipped purses.

A fabric brooch.

Plus 4 little owl pin cushions.

I hope you like what I've made so far.  I still have fabric to use but I'm struggling to think what to make next.....any ideas?

I hope you have enjoyed your visit today.  Please leave me a little message to let me know you've called in and I will do my best to pop along to see what you've been up to this week.
Hugs,
Annie x

Morning Annie - Jo was right then... you have made LOADS with some of that fabric - I reckon it's going to go a long way. Well done - the little bits are gorgeous. Ideas for more? - none at all I'm afraid - not good when it comes to thinking things up like that. your bear is so lovely - really cuddly.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Annie, love those owl pincushions! The bear is great, wouldn't that fabric make lovely Memory Sheep? lol. Love all the bits you made with the samples. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 X

Hi Annie, that bear is gorgeous and I'm not surprised the customer loved it so much she ordered two more - they are going to be treasured for decades to come. Love the items you've made from the LA fabric. The brooch gave me an idea - similar flowers could be used to decorate hair clips for the girls in the family. Just spotted your smiley post ... how did I miss that on Friday??? I can't wait to show Alan the pics of your new motorhome - it looks fabulous! Have you been out in it yet? And how lovely for you to meet Lisca in real life at last too - that's the value of blogging again :) Have a wonderful week, dear friend, Ellie, x #17

Oh Annie - what a lot of lovely little things you made with your gifted fabric. Are you going to have a stall again this year? I love the little owls so much, they are super cute.
The fabric for the bear works so well, glad he will have two brothers (or sisters) to relate tales to - by email probably).
Hugs, Neet 7 xx
ps a leak on a join in the loft brought the ceiling down in the corner. Trouble is it is a 22' x 13' lounge. Thought it was artex but apparently it is paper - hoping the insurance pay out for the skimming and we will just paint it. The guy who is doing the ridge tiles at the moment (yes more expense) is tendering to do it. We have a £350 excess on the insurance but the curtains need dry cleaning and they are sending someone out re the carpet but I think the latter is just fine.

Wow Annie, you and Jo have been busy with that fabric. I love that fluffy Ted too. How about some pencil cases if you have enough fabric. Slightly larger than A5 pouches are good too. I am currently using a Kipling one to store my Inktober sketch book and pens. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

Good grief, you’ve exhausted my ideas, how about pinching Twiglet’s?!! Bet Margaret will be chuffed to see what you’ve done with the fabrics. The teddy looks great...specially turned the right way out, sweet fabric to use, not surprised the lady wants more!
