This week's smiles....week 156

Hello to all my Friday visitors.  Here we are at the end of another week that's been full of smiles as always.  Sometimes we all have weeks that we have to looks a little harder to find the smiles but trust me when I say they are there....lots of little moments that make us smile and make life worth living.  If we share our moments then the whole world benefits so keep up the good work please.

I am featuring Lynn's post from last week cos I just love the photos she shared of her gorgeous little fur baby.....isn't he just adorable?  Thanks for sharing Lynn.

I have a couple of pics to share with you this week....

This photo arrived with this message from Shell this week...

One very excited little boy when I got home! He had a big parcel in the post. Sam has won a drawing competition in his favourite magazine!!! Bless him!

One very proud Nanny Annie here.....of course :-)

This is a pic of our first daffodil that's come into bloom this week....and this certainly made me smile cos it means Spring is getting closer.
I'm sure is we get a cold spell it will slow the blooms down but for now I'm enjoying the hints that Spring is just around the corner.  :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles for this week and will link to something that made you smile.....thanks in anticipation.
Hugs,
Annie x

Happy Friday Annie, and well done Sam- how exciting to have a win. I can also imagine how much you are looking forward to spring... nicer weather and yes all those gorgeous spring flowers - yellow daffodils and you can't help but smile. SO hot and humid here with rain last right, cooled off just a smidge today. Have a wonderful weekend Cheers Robyn

Congratulations to my namesake!!! I won a puppet (Tom of Tom n Jerry) when I wasn't much older than Sam and still have it all these years later!!
We have had one or two daffodils poking their heads out, but our snowdrops are flowering their heads off and our bees are busy making sure they do their job too.
Happy Friday.

I am over the moon at Sam's win, well done. We obviously have an artist in the making, keep up the good work. Bit cooler here yesterday
but like you we have spring flowers. Pleased you enjoyed my ski photos though they are not the most becoming as far as I'm concerned, all muffled up in ski gear, very stylish! I don't think but practical. Happy smiles, Angela x

Hi Annie, how fantastic for Sam ... I bet he was thrilled to bits with his prize. I loved Sooty when I was a wee girl back in the 50s. It doesn't make me feel quite so old when I see that today's little ones still love him too. I hope Sam keeps up his artistic endeavours and goes on to win many more prizes :) Your daffodil is indeed a herald of spring. I've been doing a daily check of mine so that I can catch the first to flower this year. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Ellie xx

Hi Annie
Thank you for featuring Bert this week, he is adorable isn't he.
I've had some daffodils given me this week by my thoughtful neighbour, they really cheer the place up at this time of year.
Got lots for you to look at over at mine Really I should be doing the dreaded VAT. Yes I'm still at it.
Enjoy your weekend Annie

Well done Sam! How excited he must have been! He will remember this for the rest of his life. His first win. I hope he will have many more.
A daffodil! It's early but it is full of promise. My freesias are in bud (they are a bulb flower and don't usually 'sprout' this early. We often get snow in this area (depending on altitude.. Granada is a skiing resort) but until now we have not had any.
I hope you ill get many more things to smile about,
Have a good week,
Lisca

Hi Annie. The twins are getting so big! Congratulations to Sam! Way to go!!! No flowers here yet so I LOVE seeing your first daffodil. I'm afraid we are in for a wild winter.

Well done to Sam for winning the competition. They do always seem to enjoy their pens and crayons.
It is lovely to see the daffodils. There were a few along the road when I was in Wolverhampton. The ones in my garden look as though they might have a few flowers on again. Last year was the first time I have managed to grow them out here, and the Spanish folk in the village didn't know whet they were!

Look at his little face, in fact the two of them look so proud. Well done Sam!
After such a long dark wet Winter how good it is to see the flowers in bloom but I am sure Nature is totally confused. Looking out upstairs I can see a rose bush loaded with about 50 flowers!!Unreal.
I bought 3 bunches of daffodils this week (50p each) and they are a joy.
Thanks again for your help. We are now waiting to see if the group members are interested in our idea, I hope so.
