This week's smiles.....week 492

Oh what a week it's been....I've had so much to smile about.

Firstly my mouth is recovering now....I had the offending tooth removed last Thursday  and I was really glad to see the back of it.

The WOYWW crop went really well and it was so special to see blogging friends again...many I had seen since before Covid lockdown and some I had known for years and never met before...our very own Angela being one of those and I not onlt met her but I met her hubby and their two gorgeous furbabies.  It was a day filled with fun, friendship, laughter, chatting, cake and just a little bit of crafting....magic. there are more pics on my Wednesday post.

My darling hubby was looking through one of my fabric boxes for backing fabrics for the latest Advent calendars I've been making this week and as you can see Milly got in on the job and was looking up to see what instructions he was going to give her lol.

I put the 5 Advent calendars I made back in January on my Sewing by Annie Facebook page and sold 4 of them within a day so have spent the week buying more fabric panels and making more.

Little Louie has started mixed feeding and has taken to it like a duck to water....he's tucking into carrot and pear puree that his mummy has made for him...yum yum.

Finally we can't have a Friday post without a few funnies can we?

I hope you find something here to make you smile and will leave me a little comment then share your smiles by linking up at the bottom of the page.

Hugs,

Annie x

This week's smiles ...week 482

Phew! hasn't it been a scorcher?  We are just not used to it are we but we have survived it so far with lots of drinks and fans in almost every room and thankfully it's much cooler now.

Louie has been living in just his nappy but was still happy to have Nanny cuddles...he likes to copy me [especially when I poke my tongue out] and is chuckling now...he's such a cutie.

We filled our paddling pool and you can see we weren't the only ones to enjoy the cool water.

We had a tiny visitor yesterday when a baby wren flew in through the patio doors.  I was able to pick him up in my sewing room window and have quite a long chat with him sitting on my hand while he recovered before he flew off...don't you just love nature?

Finally here's a few pics I took in our garden yesterday.  A lot of the flowers are suffering from the heat but our tomatoes are ripening well now in the greenhouse.

Finally here's the funnies I've found this week...there seems more than ever but thought you'd like to share them.  Have a great week my friends.
Hugs,

This week's smiles...week 479

Hello all.  I hope you've all had a lovely week and have lots of smiles to share with everyone.  I can always find something that has made me smile and here are my pics for today...

Gina is breast feeding little Louie [and doing a really good job of it too] but sometimes after a longer gap between feeds in the night she needs to express some of her milk and she keeps it for precious moments like this....

Theo is feeding his baby brother for the first time and doing a really good job of it too...he's such a loving big brother.

I have a new grandpuppy coming soon....

Amy, Dave and family have been to choose their next puppy.  Meet Daphne puppy.  She is a golden retriever and they will be picking her up in a few weeks....doen't she have a cute little face?

Our little back garden just keeps on giving.  There are new blooms everywhere I look so just have to share them with you.

Of course it wouldn't be Friday without a few funnies.  I hope you're all smiling now and will link up to your own smiles below.  Have a great week.

This week's smiles...week 478

It's been another hot, busy week here at Sewing by Annie's but, as always we have had plenty to smile about.  Hubby's sciatica seems to get a little better every day.  He has physio each Monday and we went swimming on Tuesday...this week acompanied by....

...Little Louie and his Mummy and, as you can see, he has found his thumb this week.  Both his Mummy and Daddy were thumb suckers so this didn't surprise us.  I really love this photo.

Theo loves to read to Louie at bedtime and just a couple of minutes after tthis photo was taken Louie was asleep....it's so lovely watching them grow up together and living close enough to be part of their lives.

I've had my own Repair Shop experience this week [If you don't know its a programme on the telly where prescious items are repaired]....I will be sharing the photos on my desk on Wednesday if you want to drop by to see what it was.

Finally, here are my funnies for the week.  I hope they raise a smile or two.
Please share your own smiles by linking them below.
Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 477

The sun is shining and all is well in my world so that's certainly something to smile about.  My darling hubby's sciatica seems to be improving...he's had 2 sessions with a physio and we have signed up and started swimming and it all seems to be doing good so I'm keeping everything crossed.  I have lots to share with you so I will quickly go through my photos...

I'm not the only one smiling....Louie has found his hands this week and is smiling now....he's such a cutie and his big brother is really good with him.

More smiles.  This grandad isn't one to choose to hold a tiny baby but when one is thrust apon him he rather enjoys it...and I love this photo.

Theo is learning to play the guitar...his daddy is teaching him...and that makes me smile a lot.

This photo makes me smile every time I look at it.  Dod is down on the carpet doing his exercises for his sciatica and, as you can see, Milly is joining in....she's such a cutie.

The garden just keeps on giving...so much colour everywhere we look and I love it.

Finally here is my round up of funnies for the week.  I hope you will leave me a little comment so I know you've called in and will then link up to your own smiles below....we can never have too many smiles and everyone is welcome.

This week's smiles....week 474

It's been such a lovely week with happy mail coming through my door each week from the WOYWW ATC swap and it's been a busy week too...

Sunday I went with my hubby and big sister Jo to the theatre in Shrewsbury to see....

Paul Merton and impro chums.  The show was brilliant with lots of clever improvisation between them all.  We are so lucky to have such a fab theatre in Shrewsbury.

Sunday we were back at the theatre because Lexi was taking part in a dance show.  She was in 6 group dances and was supposed to be doing a duet with her best friend but sadly her friend had Covid so she stepped up and performed the dance as a solo.
Talk about emotions....she was brilliant and performed with such confidence.
It has been so lovely watching her develop from a little shrinking violet at the back of the groups to be now dancing at the front of the stage and even performing a solo.....such a proud Nanny and Grandad.

Monday night we went to watch Stephen play football....in the pouring rain.  It's what you do as proud grandparents and he plays in goals and made some brilliant saves.

Tuesday, while our men went to Arsenal training ground as prize draw winners, I joined Gina for the day.  We did a bit of shopping, and were ladies that lunch....with little Louie.  He was a real star.  I was able to proudly push the pram around [it's a bit like a zimmer frame :-) ] and so many folk commented on how gorgeous he was.....special memories made.

Finally a few funnies....

...and a few more :-)

...and last but not least.  I seem to find so many funnies at the mo and know you like to see them.

Please leave me a comment so I know you've called by and then link up to your own smiles below.  Have a great week.
Hugs,

This week's smiles...week 473

Another week has flown by and it's been another one filled with smiles...

Last Sunday Mark and Gina had a wedding to go to and no children were invited [apart from breast feeding babies] so Theo came to us for the day...and what a lovely day we had.  He really loves crafting with us so the table was filled with stash and we had a fun time.

Gina had managed to express some of her milk so I was able to feed Louie on one of their visits...there's nothing quite like that close up feeling with a baby....he feeds well from a bottle so it's lovely that daddy is able to experience that closeness from time to time.

I was treated to a bunch of flowers by one of my customers this week...it's so special when they go above and beyond being grateful for what I do....they were just too pretty to not share them with you.

We have had a new greenhouse this week and after hubby built it in the garden he has now filled it with our tomatoes.  I love being able to potter in a greenhouse...it's only 4'x6' but that's plenty big enough in our little garden.

Talking of the garden...here's the latest collage of our garden flowers.  Just look at the size of the Peony blooms now...they are soooooo heavy too.

And finally I'm finishing off with some funnies.  I really hope you all have a wonderful week filled with smiles and can share some of yours by linking up below.

Hugs,

Annie x

This week's smiles....week 470

Happy Friday to one and all.  Here we are at the catch up of smiles from the week and, as always, there's been a few.

Big brother duties are settling down nicely.....here is Theo reading a bedtime story to Louie.  I have a video of it all and Louie does seem to be listening closely to his big brother and Theo's reading is amazing now.

I really dont like having my photo taken but these two made me so aware of the difference in the last 5 years and now more than 3 stone down.....yes I'm smiling.....lots!!!

The first photo is when Theo was little and the one on the right was taken this week with Louie.

Finally I have 3 collages of funnies for you this week....hope you enjoy them.

This week's smiles...week 469

Another week has passed and it's been one filled with celebrations and smiles.  I will quickly show you a few of my pics that I can share....

Theo shows his baby brother Louie off to his cousins.

I'm thrilled to say both mum and baby are doing well and the little family has been enjoying quality time together while Mark is on paternity leave and Theo is on his Easter holidays.

For our Wedding Anniversary we went for a ride out in our motor home to Alderford Lake.  It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed several walks with Milly but sadly they couldn't find wetsuits to fit us so we had to miss out on the water slides ;-)

Amy and Dave printed us out a new family tree for our Wedding Anniversary to go in our living room with little Louie added on it. :-)

We treated ourselves to new patio furniture [bottom right] and our little garden is just gorgeous now with so many beautiful flowers coming into bloom.

Finally here are a few funnies to make you smile.

I hope your week has been filled with smiles too and you will share them by linking up below.

Hugs,
Annie x
