This week's smiles....week 463

Another week has passed and as always I have lots to smile about to share with you all...

It's not the most flattering photo of me cos I'm in my nightie and have bed hair but it's so full of love that I love it.  This was taken at 6am on Tuesday morning just after we had done our Wordle.  Theo put his head on my shoulder and looked up into my eyes and said 'I love you Nanny'....magical.

This is Gina at 34 weeks....she looks a picture of health and as long as she rests lots she is fast approaching a time when they will be happy for her to have the baby....she's doing all the right things to 'cook' the little one for as long as she can.

I think Gina and Theo aren't the only ones to miss Mark while he's been working away.  Their Cockerpoo Maisie likes to cuddle him and looks up into his face with so much love.

I love this photo.

Our garden is now full of Spring flowers so I've taken a few pics and put them together into 2 collages to share with you...

...I love Spring with all it's new growth.  It makes my heart sing.

Finally here's a few funnies for you.

I hope you have found something to make you smile too and will now share your smiles by linking up below.

Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 456

Here we are at another Friday's catch up with all the smiles from the week...and there's been many although we are both still fighting off the Winter bugs....a day at Colwyn Bay on Tuesday does seem to have helped so we're keeping everything crossed.

Kate asked last week if I was winging my crochet baby blanket to here's the proof I am actually using a pattern....It's one I found on Pinterest Kate.  I must be honest and say I am making my own version in parts but I'm loving it and am now working on the edges.

My daughter-in-law Gina has really become hooked on her crochet and is going from strength to strength now with a new 'make' on a daily basis.  I'm so proud of her.

Theo was allowed to go back to school on Wednesday having had two negative Covid tests...it's so good to see him looking better.

Finally I saw this on Facebook and it made me chuckle...hope it does you too.

Please leave me a little message so I know you've called by and if you can please link up to your own smiles below....we really can't have too many joining in the fun and everyone is welcome.

Hugs,

This week's smiles.....week 160

Week 160????? Where does the time go?  That's a lot of weeks of smiles isn't it?

Firstly I want to thank you all for joining in last week's smiles.  I'm so thrilled that so many of you take the time out of your busy lives to join in the fun.  My featured blog from last week it one some you might have missed because she forgot to link up her post but I know the intention was there because she said so  :-)  Our Wednesday 'leader' Julia shared a pic of a lorry load of stripeless zebras....now I'm pleased to say she did include a pic cos if she hadn't I would have been asking her what she'd been drinking.  :-)  I mean, stripeless zebras????? hehehe  It sure did make me chuckle so if you missed her post then feel free to click on the link to check it out....thanks for sharing Julia.

Next as many of you will know it hasn't been the best of weeks here for us but I must thank you all for your lovely messages and the love that you sent us at the loss of our furry baby....I think I'm suffering empty nest syndrome but I'm sure things will get easier with time.

I do have something to share with you that really made me smile this week.  Our daughter-in-law Gina is an infant teacher and for World Book Day their school had to dress up as a favourite book character....of course teachers also have to make an effort and Gina sent me this pic to let me see the outfit she had made....

It made me smile for so many reasons.  I'm so proud of all my family and in-laws and really love the fact that they are all willing to not only have a go but succeed in all they try and always like to share their results with me.

Doesn't she make a perfect Little Miss Chatterbox?

I love the outfit and the fact she made it herself made it all the more special.....I bet the kids will really love it too.

That's my smile for the week.....what's yours?  Please leave me a little message to let me know you've called by and link your pics up below.
Hugs,
