This week's smiles....week 200

Wahoooooo I'm back and just look at the big number at the top of the page! That's certainly something to celebrate eh?

 Firstly I have a few thank yous.....

• To all who have joined in each week by sharing their smiles....I just know sharing smiles make life easier for others.
• For all the lovely comments each week....your support is very special to me.
• To the very special blogging friends [you know who you are] who contacted me last week to check I was ok.....you really are very special friends even though many of you I have never met in person.  We had gone AWOL to spend a few days away with little Theo and other family members to celebrate his first Christmas and spend some very quality time together.

 I'm back with recharged batteries now and am sharing a few festive smiles I've found on Pinterest with you.....

Of course....what else would I be doing?

WOYWW....

Hi folks it's been another busy week here. 

There has been more change here at our new home...a couple of posts and fence panels in the back garden have been moved [by my wonderful hubby] to allow space for a new back gate to be put in to give us much better access to the back garden and to allow access for builders when we get plans passed for the small extension we hope to have built.....yes it's all go but it's so exciting  :-)

My little Ikea cupboards are now all painted and I'm rather thrilled with the finished result...what do you think?

I've been busy using more of my stash of gifted fabric to make some little fabric boxes.  I found a little triangular design on Pinterest that I rather liked so I've had a play and here's my first completed box. Like it?  I hope you do cos I've now cut out the fabric for several more and hopefully today I will get them made.....in between paying a visit to all who call by here and leave me a comment of course :-)

And the last pic I have to share today is of a little treasure I found hidden in the new garden yesterday.  A lot of you will know my love of poppies so will know just how much this made me smile.  The petals are just so delicate....just like tissue paper :-)

This week's smiles.....week 78

Hello all. The weeks seem to fly by so quickly and every day seems full of smiles for me so life is good when your cup is kept half full :-)  It could be easy to focus on the annoying moments cos of course I have many of those but I flatly refuse to let them get the better of me.

My featured blog for this week just had to be Jo's gorgeous pics of the lavender that made me go out into the garden and snap mine to use as my new header pic....don't you just love it?  Thanks Jo for the inspiration.

I have been allowing myself to plan and get excited about my new sewing room for when we manage to get this moving date and that's where I have found my smiles for this week....Pinterest! :-)

I will def need one of these won't I?

What a brilliant idea for using up some of that wool stash. :-)

Who is he?  Well you know I've got this fab new Bernina sewing machine....wonder if he'd be interested? :-)

Here he is again....the new work surfaces are def worth reinforcing aren't they?  :-)

That's it .....now I know he is just pure fantasy!!! :-)
