WOYWW.....

Hello all and Happy Wednesday to you.  It's my favourite day of the week when we blog hop around our creative friends around the works.  We expose our desks and share what we've been doing on them each week.  If you'd like to join in the fun [you will really love it] then just pop over to Julia's at The Stamping ground and check out the details.  We will all be meeting up too on 1st June so why not check out where and join us for a fun day....here's the details.  My much older sister and I are hosting the crop this year and it should be a fun day of celebrating 10 years of friendship.

So you've here to check out my desk aren't you?  It's been school holidays here this week so it's been a quiet week with few customers so I've been using my time wisely....

A lot of you have exploding boxes of paper scraps, well, here for me it was an overflowing box of fabric scraps and the funny thing was a lot of them I'd been given by one of my customers [so they weren't even my scraps!] and lots of them weren't big enough to even be usable! So I've given my box the 'Jan treatment'.  I've thrown out all that's unusable and folded all that is.....

....my box now looks like this cos all this is here....

....a bin bag filled with scraps.  How did all that fit in that box?

Of course I had now got the sorting and tidying bug by this stage so.....

Out came all my fat quarters and I've sorted them into colours....much easier to use them like this and the colours are so inspiring.

Now doesn't that look better? And now I need a few projects to use some of it [If I can bring myself to cut into it all!].

I have managed to find a couple of hard backed books that I rather fancy making crazy patchwork covers for....what do you think?

That's all from me for this week.  If you leave me a little message I will do my best to pay you a return visit to see what you've been up to this week.
Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 183

Hello all.  Happy Friday to one and all.  I think many of you are on holidays at the mo because there were only 4 who linked up last week so I would like to thank Angela, Robyn, Kate and Neet for doing their bit to make the world a happier place to be....I really do appreciate your effort girls so am sending you all a special big hug this week.

I have had a week full of smiles this week so will share a few pics with you all....

Shell took Lexi and Sam for their first night camping this week....as you can see it was a big success.

'Look Nanny....my lolly has turned my tongue blue'. :-)

'We are on a dinosaur hunt Nanny....I hope we don't meet the one that made these footprints!'

No dinosaurs found thankfully but holding each others hands to keep each other safe....just in case. :-)

Phoebe loves her books and has already read many during her school holidays.

Steve is enjoying playing with the box of Lego we had when our three were little....it never dates does it?......and Grandad was having just as much fun. :-)

More cousin fun times....all 5 play so well together. :-)

And last but by no means least here is Phoebe and Lulu enjoying a special little girl's pamper day with their mummy.....they really enjoyed the chocolate face packs and having their nails done as you can see.  :-)

As you can see I have many smiles to share this week.  It would be really lovely if a few more would join in the fun by sharing their smiles.  If you link yours below I will pop over as soon as I can to see what's been making you smile this week.

Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 58

Well folks, another week has passed and we had lots of wonderful happy posts linked here last week.  I am featuring Kate's blog this week.  Kate joins in most weeks with a whole week of happy snaps from her week over in Spain and this week featured her cat Arwen.  Arwen has really long, thick fur that becomes difficult to keep matt free...well she did :-)  She had her regular hair cut to get rid of the matts and to cool her down and is now sporting a really smart new hair do....I love it and I'm sure Arwen now feels so much cooler.  Thanks for sharing Kate.

So? What have I got to smile about this week?

Shell sent me this photo that she took when she checked on Lexi at bedtime....

It appears Lexi had really enjoyed a good read before going to sleep!  I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall cos she probably read every one to her dollies.  :-)

The twins really love their books.

Waste not want not.  :-)

Jo brought the twins some Peppa Pig stickers down on Monday when she came to play and as you can see here the sticky waste  from round the stickers gave almost as much fun as the stickers  :-)

Here's a few snaps of the twins playing vets on Tuesday.  I think just about every toy animal was 'treated' during the day.

I think Lexi's face says it all in the bottom left pic.....poor little owl had two poorly wings it seems!

As you can see we have sooooooo much fun together and I could fill pages of the moments that make me smile.  I hope you will snap something that has made you smile this week and link it below so we can all share it.
Hugs,
