If you read my Wednesday post you will have seen that our adventure didn't quite go to plan....but we still went. We had 4 nights on a campsite near GCHQ in Cheltenham. Whilst it was a lovely clean site the fact that it was under the flight path of the small planes landing at Gloucester airport and by the side of a busy road making it not quite the tranquil site it was meant to be. My shingles caused me a lot of pain in the side of my head and made sleeping very difficult even when dosed up with Paracetamol and Nurofen.
All that saying we had a lovely few days away together with little Peggy. We visited a National Trust place at Hidcote....beautiful gardens with walks for Peggy.
All around our campsite there were willow woven animals...these were just a few of them.
Peggy really loves life in the caravan.

The willow sculptures are fun - I bet Peggy was a bit confused. The gardens are at there best just now - lots of colour. Great funnies this week 🤣 x x Jo 🌈
Sorry about the noisy place, I am with you, and sorry about the pain. But oh, nice sculptures and your garden!
Thanks for the funnies :-) Have a great day! Hugs
I'm sorry you were poorly last weekend, and that it spoilt your weekend. (as did the planes and the traffic). I hope you are feeling better now.
I love the willow animals.
And you had me chuckling with your funnies. Thanks.
Enjoy your weekend,
Lisca
Pleased you had a nice time away even if it wasn't quite as you would have wished. There were lots of things to make you smile though and Peggy enjoyed it. Loving the funnies too. Hope your weekend is full of bigger smiles and less pain. Hugs Angela xXx
I am still chuckling at your funnies.
So sorry shingles tried to spoil your time away. I had the vaccine against it this week so I hope it works!
Beautiful flowers to come home to. The warm weather certainly brings out the best in them. Kate x
Fun post.. Have a great week ahead x
how magical to see the sculptures. Peggy is cute, enjoying her home away from home, so sorry you're tormented with pain right now, you have so many things in life to enjoy.LeeAnna
