What a crazy week it's been here at Sewing by Annie's. It never fails to amaze me how one week I wont see a single customer then the next week I get customers that I haven't seen for years along with new contracts and Memory bears galore....well this week has been one of those weeks. You know I like to be kept busy but there just aren't enough hours in each day this week.....I'm sooooo glad I feel better now.
So far since last Friday I have...
- Made 10 Memory bears
- Shortened 2 pair trousers
- Let out the waist and seat of 5 pair of trousers for a 92yr old gent
- Shortened 2 nurse's dresses
- Repaired the seams on two factory jackets
- Replaced 20 of the 50 pairs of factory trousers that I have to do.....just another 30 to go....oh and I have 4 more pair of trousers needing shortening!!
I'm buzzing as you can imagine and loving every minute of it.
I have a few pics to share with you now...
My darling hubby has sat along side me and has taken some of the old zips out of the trousers....we make such a great team....and I really do appreciate his help.
I love him to bits.
Theo has started going to a local football club on a Saturday and on his first week he was awarded player of the week.....He was a little shy and nervous to start with and by the end of the session he was joining in and even tackling his own players!....I guess the trophy was to encourage him and hopefully he will learn which players to tackle soon :-)
Finally but by no means least I am sharing the stunning Mahonia we have growing in our garden. It's the very best it's ever been and there seem so many blooms on it at the mo....and the insects are loving it still.
Hope you've all had a great week and have lots of smiles to share with us....the more the merrier.
Hugs,
Annie x

Gosh, Annie, all I've done was sleep, eat, then sleep some more this week. You have been on fire. Theo looks cute and I hope he soon learns the rules of the game. Cute trophy, though. Have a great rest of the week, dear.
Oops my comment disappeared. So I’m back again to say what a lovely post to start the day with.
Good lad Theo with his football prowess.
Don’t be over doing things workwise missus, although I do like your little helper heehee.
Not playing today as nothing to report other than a bad cough. On the good side it’s a beautiful morning
Enjoy the weekend Annie and give Milly a kiss from me.

What a little helper! Bless him, he is such a gem. Fantastic sewing business there missus! Love the Mahonia and what a star Theo is. Enjoy your weekend. xx Jo
My,my, what a busy lady. I don-t know how you find time to do anything for yourself. How great to have hubby lending a hand too.
Well done to Theo. These clubs for the little ones are a great way to get them out in the fresh air and to learn 'team skills'.
Your mahonia is wonderful. Sadly mine had to be cut down when we remodelled our front drive, not long before we moved away. I remeber its wood was really bright yellow. And yes, the bees and other insects love it.
Here'sto another busy week and the energy to see it through! Hugs Kate x
Pleased you're feeling better. I'm a bit surprised about how many of the zips on those trousers need replacing it makes me think that they were not very good in the first place unless the men use them a lot Lol! Maybe when Theo gets to know who is on his side he might now which ones to tackle which I'm sure the team will be much happier about Lol!Loving the plant it's very impressive. Have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx
That man’s a keeper! It’s great when you can work with your husband to bet a job done. Theo looks really pleased-wonder how long the cake lasted! Happy weekend.💕
what a good husband and companion! Your bush is astounding!!!
Gosh you have been busy! I'm glad you are feeling better. It's sooo nice that your husband is helping you. He is a keeper!
I love to see Theo's glowing little face as he poses with his award. Well done little man.
That Mahonia is amazing! I hope you can see it from your window. It is a sight to behold.
Have a lovely weekend,
