This week's smiles....week 356

Another week, same place and yet more smiles. :-)

The weeks seem to be whizzing by.  Here we are at the end of the first month already.  I always remember my mum saying how much quicker time passes as you get older and now I know what she meant.  Each week comes and goes so quickly but thankfully each one has something to make me smile....I'm blessed.

On Sunday our local football team, Shrewsbury Town, was playing in the 4th round of the FA cup against Liverpool so the family were very excited.  Here they are all dressed ready to go....and they were even happier when Shrewsbury held Liverpool to a draw and now they will be off to Anfield to play the return match.....exciting times eh?

Molly dog went to be neutered this week.  Everything went well and she is now wearing a vest this week to keep her from disturbing the stitches.  She's such a lovely dog and gets on so well with Poppy....when Poppy lies down Molly just has to be lying close enough to her that they are touching :-)

Theo is really in to make believe play now and here he is benefiting from the shop his daddy made for use in Gina's school.....he's growing up so quickly.

And finally...I saw this on Pinterest and think it will be my new motto.  I make such a lot of dust with all the fabrics I use so my sewing room is almost always in a state of needing cleaning.

I hope I have made you smile this week and you will leave me a little message so I know you've called by.  If you link to your smiles below I will pop over to see what's been making you smile this week.
Hugs,
Annie x

I did watch the match (obviously, as a Liverpool fan!) and thought they'd all be there! Hope they enjoy the replay (can't say I'm looking forward to Chelsea in the next round!!) Great pic of Theo playing shop!

I thought of your family when I saw the football results. I can imagine how excited they were.
I am sure Molly will soon be feeling fine again. It is a good thing to get done. how lovely that she and Poppy are such good company for one another.
That's a splendid shop that Theo is playing with. I am sure all the little ones enjoy it.
Replace 'sewing room' with 'craft room' and I agree completely.
Keep smiling. Kate x

Hi Annie, I'm not a lover of football probably because I only get to see the rugby but to be honest that's not because I put it on either but I'm pleased to hear that the team did so well. It's good to hear the dogs are getting on so well together. I actually think they like the company of another dog. When we're in the park you can see some are desperate to interact with others but I realise it's not always possible to manage two dogs as well as the expense. Little Theo is having so much fun and I love the funny, I could do with a sign like that for when I move into the cabin. The rest of the electrics are being put up as we speak. Have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx

Hi Annie, I woke up this morning thinking that here was another Friday and, because I'm still under the weather, I had little to write up for a smiley post. But, I've cheered up a bit now and got down to writing a post after all. Love the photo of all your smiling boys in their footie tops - they sure had plenty to celebrate. Poor Molly. The op can't be comfortable but it's good she has Poppy to console her. Alan reckons labs/retrievers are the most patient of dogs. Theo's daddy is a very tallented toymaker - the shop is brilliant. Love your new motto - I've applied it to my sewing room for now. Have a fabulous weekend. Hugs, Ellie xx

I apologize for being so late getting back here. I would have been here sooner, but when I woke, I felt sick again. This time it was in my lungs and chest.

Looks like we both have footie games to be happy about. Everyone looks so happy and that they won this round. Molly's a little old to have the operation. Usually it's done in the first six weeks of their lives (at least in the states). It's much harder the older the pup is, so I hope she will soon be feeling herself. Theo looks adorable playing at the supermarket check out. So sweet.

Have a super rest of the weekend, since it’s no longer Friday in your world. Sorry again I didn't get back sooner.

Happy photos and what an exciting result for the footie. The shop is amazing-you are such a talented family.Does Theo realise the shop is going away to Mummy’s school? All my working life, my DH built and crafted things for me so that I could make a difference to children’s lives. Now in retirement he’s still doing it for all my many craft classes!! Very wet and windy here today and I need to go out to the local fabric shop to collect some adhesive wadding that they ordered for me as they had run out. The sad news is that they will close as soon as a new tenant is found to take over the leasešŸ˜¢
