WOYWW....

Another week has passed and the sewing keeps coming...thankfully.   I've still had spare time so have been frog making this week.

I'm going to start this week with a smile.....

My Amaryllis has continued to make me smile when the third stalk opened up with yet another 4 blooms...so 12 in total.  Not bad for something I felt sorry for at Aldis...it's repaid me in full.

I decided to try out a couple of different patterns to make the frogs for the charity this time and made 3 like this which I rather like and....

....two like this [so far]....I like this pattern most because it's more like the frog Harry drew before he died.  There will be more made like this one.

That's all from me for this week.  I will pop over to see what you've been up to so please leave me a message if you call by.
Hugs,
Annie x

Wow, that amaryllis is amazing - you’ve been rewarded by saving it from Aldi!! I like both the froggie patterns but prefer the last one, it’s got more character somehow, but looks fiddlier to construct. Hope you’re keeping well and happy,

I too like the second set of frogs and if they are like the original that is even better. Hugs Angela #12

Your first line made me howl a bit…spare time so I’ve been frog making. 😂 only you Annie! The frogs are lovely, I do like the fat lying down ones, good paperweights too, but I love the Harry Frogs very much, don’t children have such amazing imaginations, must be lovely for the charity to see Harry’s pictures in 3d. Also paged back to catch up, my word your grandchildren are nearly adults, how did that happen! How marvellous that they Love to perform, doesn’t them no end of good as they reach the horrible self conscious nearly adult teen years.

Your amaryllis is beautiful Annie. What a great purchase. I like all the frogs but the second one looks like a lot more work. Glad you are still smiling. You can find my post HERE

What adorable frogs Annie - both kinds. Beautiful blooms too. Not at Mum's as I have a rotten cold and didn't want to inflict it on her. Making quick visits between samples. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
