This week's smiles.....week 212

Phew these week's fly by....or is it just me?  It only seems 5 mins since I wrote my Friday post last week.  Firstly I must thank the few who join in each week.....it would be so nice to build up our numbers.....we really can't have too many smiles so join in the fun by linking up your smiles below and lets make the world a happier place to be.

I have a few smiles to share with you this week.  Milly is now 11 months old and was needing her first hair cut so I snapped a couple of pics before and after for you.....she never fails to make me smile.

Before........

Here she is looking more like a little lion with her long coat.

.....and After.

The lady that clipped her said she is such a lovely nature and was as good as gold considering it was a new experience for her with lots of new noises.  Her coat is now really soft and velvety and her gorgeous stripey markings are now visible again.  She's so proud of herself.....as I am too 😍😍😍😍

The other thing I'm sharing is this clever young lady.  Lexi has been doing gymnastics a little while now and has worked really hard at it so has been treated to a team leotard.  She loves showing me what she's learnt and it's been really good for building her confidence.

And finally I'm leaving you with a chuckle.  Lexi had been showing her mummy that she could do handstands up against the door so her mummy showed her that she can still do it too.....I remembering doing just that many years ago but thankfully mine was never caught on camera.
😁😁😁😁😁😁

So there you go.  You've seen mine now show me your smiles by linking them up below.  Have a happy week full of smiles.
Hugs,
Annie x

I had to laugh because I came here an hour ago, and thought I was cursed. Seems every time I plan to link up for Friday Smiles you are gone or the link is late. THEN I realized the laugh was on me, because our Daylight Savings Time has changed, and yours has not, at least not for another week.

Milly looks simply adorable after her first hair cut. How surprising she took it all in stride. She must be a real trooper.

Lexi is looking great in her new leotard. She looks like she is going to be a gymnastics champion soon. I understand they need to start quite early if they plan to make any real progress in it. I hope she keeps it up, because she looks like she's a natural.

Have a super Friday and great weekend. Keep that later time as long as possible, because changing times seems to hit me really hard for at least two weeks after the change.

Milly looks gorgeous with her new haircut. Her stripes are really beautiful. And she behaved. Bless her. She is so good.
Lexi certainly looks the part in her new leotard. Handstands? I have never been able to do that, even when I was young. I am fitter now than when I was young. (But I won't attempt a handstand, just in case).
Have a great weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

The biggest chuckle for me Annie is having a vision of you doing a handstand against the wall now, showing your bloomers hahaha. Sorry I mean it in the nicest possible way hahaha.
Darling Milly, she is so gorgeous and nearly one year old. We will need a proper party that week with her in the staring roll.
Have a great week Annie

Hi Annie, I am here. Just got back from the Gym and getting ready to go food shopping as we haven't been since we got back. Millie looks lovely, a proper little lady now with her new hair cut and the other two girls are cute too Lol! Thanks for the visit to mine and for keeping this happy band together, we may be small in numbers sometimes but full of smiles. Have a great weekend, Angela xXx

Well Annie, it looks as though little Millie behaved better at the groomers than our Kim did! Fortunately he doesn't need to go very often.
it is good to see Lexi enjoying her gymnastics. It is so good for them, as you say, it builds their confidence, and gives them poise and fitness too. Two of our lads did gym and Ben got as far as the Shropshire squad, but he was going to Lillishall four times a week and it got too much. Still I hope she enjoys it for a few more years yet. (I was told off by him for calling his uniform a leotard. "They are for girls; mine's a body suit"!).
This mum never joined in though. I was not that sort of a child, and never was agile enough for gymnastics. Kate x

If only I could do a headstand! Hats off to Lexi and her mum for showing us what they can do. Lexi looks a little star in her leotard as does Milly with her new hair-do! What a difference the cut has made to her, she is so different and I love that her stripes are back.
Hugs, Neet xx
