WOYWW....

Hello all.  I'm sure you will have noticed I was missing from my desk last week and here's why.....

We went for a few days to South Wales to celebrate my darling hubby's birthday and to visit this lovely gal and her hubby in their new home.  They both made us feel very welcome and are such lovely people.  They took us to see the gorgeous beach they are often seen walking on and Jan and I enjoyed sitting on a huge tree that had come in with the tide while our men walked the length of the beach....as you can imagine we had a good catch up and lots of giggles.
Thanks both for making our little holiday so very special.

Of course when I came home I had been missed and have spent a few days catching up on my customers sewing.

My desk this morning is full of my items I've been busy making lately.  I've been spending time bagging items up and labelling them ready for a craft sale.....I will be having a table at Baschurch Village Hall on Sunday 2nd April 10 - 1pm....so if you're free why not pop along to say hello.

I'm just pondering now what I make next....any ideas as to what sells well folks?

That's all from me for today.  I didn't manage to visit anyone last week but promise I will do better today.
Hugs,
Annie x

I'm glad you had a lovely time with Jan it will have been a nice break for you all and I'm happy to hear
darling Milly had a good time too.
How about some little square lavender bags with crimped edges so they look like ravioli. They've always been appreciated when I've done them. Put 3 together in a little box or bag

Pleased you had a nice time.....now let me see! What about: cup warmers that fit round a mug as they are generally a similar shape and size though you could make them so they have an elastic opening and book marks I'm sure you've already thought of. There are so many things aren't there. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww crafting, Angela x 17 x

How lovely that you went to see Jan, Annie. I saw the lovely photos on Jan's post earlier. It looks a beautiful part of the world and it's always so lovely to see old friends.
Good look with your craft sale.

Hi Annie. Sounds like a great time with Jan and G. Happy belated birthday to your hubby!! Have just looked up Baschurch and found the village hall, then went back to your blog post to check details.... and ... oh how disappointed I was - the fair is on a Sunday - and I know I won't be able to make it, otherwise I would have driven over... not that far to Shrewsbury for a nice day out.
Take care. God bless.
Margaret (no post today as preparing to go away tomorrow)

I thought I'd come to the wrong blog for a moment there Annie. Recognised LLJ immediately. I can well imagine that you had a great time catching up with her though sitting on a tree on the beach at this time of this year sounds like a very cold experience. I have a suggestion for you - Easter chicks. The yellow and orange fat quarters you can see on my post were bought for just these little makes. I found the instructions in an old Popular Patchwork magazine but I've found a link online so I'll pass it on through Facebook. Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Ellie x #34

I have no ideas of what sells, except that I've been looking for those fabric microwave bowls - you put your bowl into it when you pop it in the microwave, and its like a hot mitt around the bowl so you don't burn your hands when removing it here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZgv3vwvlsY
I would buy a few more of those if only I could find them! (but I live in Canada and can't come to your sale :-( , but others may like this concept! I was floored when I first saw it, and my DD as well. Good luck with the sale! You and Jan look like you had a great time by the sea! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #43

I knew where you were but didn't know it was DH's birthday - belated greetings from me. Loved seeing photos of you and Jan both on her blog and of her on yours.
Hope you have managed to catch up with your sewing and good luck for the stall - sorry won't be able to call down as I will be in Holland. Even Chas won't have time as he is chauffeur for the airport for me and my friend.
Will be thinking of you anyway.
Hugs, Neet 14 xx
