WOYWW....

Happy Wednesday to one and all.  What a gorgeous Easter weekend we had here.  We spent most of the weekend in our new back garden laying a new path and lawn and making a start on reshaping it all in readiness for our building work.....still no plans to work to but really hoping it won't be too much longer now.

So without more a do I will get on to what you've come to see today....

On my desk today is a job in waiting.  This is a job that won't bring in funds though as it's for the seats in our own back garden :-)  I will be making covers for these possibly today :-)

The other thing you can see on my desk today is my little pile of goodies put out in readiness to make a start on ATCs for the up and coming swap.....like the colours I'm using this year?

If you fancy swapping with me again this year I will be taking names soon.  :-)

Thanks for popping by to see what I've been up to this week.  If you leave me a little comment to let me know you've been I will do my best to pay you a return visit as soon as I'm able.
Hugs,
Annie x

I do like the colours of your prospective ATCs...they'll be amazing, as always :-)
Guess what? My new patio table and chairs turned up with cushions already made...didn't know that was happening! They're nothing fancy, only green cotton, but it saves me from having to do it! I'm going to make a new tablecloth for the table though...in a few weeks' time.
The Big Move for my dad is happening early next week, so hopefully things will settle after that. I hope so, or I may have to turn to Gin.......

We will have to see how I get on with atc making - I would love to swap but am going on holiday soon. Dash!
Had to smile at your first photo. I only had the top half of it and thought "what is Annie doing with a toilet on her blog" - just roll it down slightly and you will see what I saw.
In reality I see you are making padded seats for your chairs - you clever thing - look forward to seeing them in all their glory.
Hugs, Neet xx

Hi Annie..I'm in your back yard... designing and planting - I do so enjoy doing that too and will be doing the same in the coming months as we move back to our home and also undergo renovations. MMM I'm also liking the colours for your ATCs. Have a super week hugs RobynO#25

How funny! Like Neet, I thought it was a toilet at first glance! Some lovely pretties all ready for ATC making. They'll be gorgeous, of course x

Aha, you don't show us the cushion fabric..is it cheerful and bright or posh and interiors I wonder! Love the cheerful colours involved in your ATCs...good grief, you're making me panic.

Get the garden chairs ready so you can use them as soon as the good weather permits. It's really cold and cloudy again here in Spain. It usually means it's fine in the UK...
Thank you for stopping by earlier,
Have a good week,

It is always the jobs that don't bring in money that usually get left to the last. Lovely pics of plants/flowers in your earlier post.

I've never made covers for pillows, but it sounds like the perfect way to customize a look. Your ATC's sound great too, and hopefully I'll get to see them in a future post. Happy WOYWW Wednesday! #37

At first glance I thought you had a toilet seat next to your sewing machine and couldn't really see making covers for *that* but now I see the light and stand corrected. I am indeed loving the colors of your ATCs this year--bright and happy! Judy #56

Gosh sewing cushion covers that is keen I can't sew to save my life. It sounds nice that the weather is getting warmer and you are all getting into your gardens, here it is starting to get cold and we are hunkering down. Thanks for sharing and have fun in and out of the garden.

Happy WOYWW

2nd day of rain and gloom, yet tomorrow and maybe then some Sunhine and warmth. I just purchased patio chair covers. No patience to sew them this year. Have a great week.
