WOYWW...

Happy Wednesday to you all and thanks for dropping by to see what I've been up to this week.  It's been a good week for sewing for me...

Business is thankfully picking up a little for me now and for the first time since we moved I can show you a full rail.  During the last week I have....
  • Shortened 3 lined skirts
  • Taken a lined dress up on the shoulders
  • Shortened a lined Winter's coat
  • Shortened 2 pair of trousers and
  • Shortened 2 summer tops
I really buzz when I get busy and have really missed it so I've loved the challenge it's given me this week.  Let's hope work starts to trickle in again for me now.

My desk today is just full of my machines enjoying the sunshine and they are having a morning off today.  I am joining my 2 gorgeous daughters and daughter in law and 5 much loved grandees for Easter fun and games this morning.  I love family times, as you know, and I'm sure I just might have a pic or two to share with you for my weekly smiles post on Friday so feel free to call back then if you'd like to see what we get up to...... and why not link up and share your smiles for the week?  The more the merrier.  We can never have too many smiles....can we?

Thanks for dropping in.  If you leave me a comment to let me know you've called by I will do my best to pay you a return visit as soon as I can.
Hugs,
Annie x

Enjoy your day out. It certainly looks as if the weather is better than here, it has been pouring with rain all night and there is quite a wind still.
God news about the alterations.

Good to see that the sewing business is picking up, long may that continue! Look at that gorgeous sunshine, we've got it here too, though I think it's going to cloud over by this afternoon. Gotta get out and make the most of it...enjoy!

Looks as if you'll at least have a bright day our with the girls and boys, if not the warmest. Still blowing a hooley here, despite the beautiful sunshine. Glad that work is coming back..after a big move like that, it takes time to re-embed and also you must remember that even if you move five minutes down the road, some people will never make the 'new' journey; too far, too different, not in the right direction..you name it for reasons. Moving a business makes the marketing people shudder!

Gosh you have been busy! It's so satisfying to see all the completed things hanging on the rack! Well done!
I enjoyed the photo of the cowslip on Friday's blog. Spring is coming!
I'd completely forgotten about 1 April!
Thanks for visiting earlier.
Have a great week and Happy Easter!

What a satisfying sight this must be for you and to love it the way you do. for me this would be my worst nightmare and I wouldn't know where to begin, actually I would I would send it out to get done by someone else, much easier and they can earn some money.

I hope you have a wonderful day off with your family. Happy Easter

So pleased to see work is coming your way. If you have short legs it's quite difficult to get trousers the right length so I am not surprised you are kept busy.
Have a lovely day with the family and happy woyww, Angela x 29

Love the sunshine on your workspace! I see the sun reflecting on your serger and feel a pang of envy. :) I've always wanted one, but feel it would spend more time in storage than in working mode.

May your work keep picking up ~ and may you enJOY it!

Love the pic of the sun streaming in the window... we had a full scale snowstorm early this morning but it is trying hard to look springlike out there now! So happy that your customers are finding you again and you have a nice full rail of work sitting there!! Enjoy your day out with the family!! Happy WOYWW Annette

Hope you've had a great day, it was so cold and windy up here even though the sun was out. I am glad customers are finding you and hope you continue to be busy. Helen 3

Good to see business is picking up again, Annie ... I guess it takes time for word to get around that you are once again open for business. I expect we'll be seeing photos of your day of Easter fun tomorrow on Friday Smiles - looking forward to it :) Hugs, Elizabeth x #40
