WOYWW...

Blimey! it's Wednesday again. They seem to come round in the wink of an eye. Today is another steamy day for me. I have a beautiful Wedding dress and two little boy's tailed jackets to steam today so it will be windows and open for me while I'm doing them.

I can't show you the dress I'm steaming today but for those that like my posh frocks here is a snap of the one I steamed last week. It had the longest train I have ever had to steam. Isn't it just beautiful? It reduced the Mother-in-law to be to tears when she called to collect it :-)

I have finished the baby blanket I showed you the start of last week and have now crocheted a border around the edge in a pale green and have made two flowers to decorate the front with but will leave sewing them on for now.

I have now started another baby blanket in another pretty random wool in pink and cream. I like to have something to do while watching television in an evening.....I never like to sit idle :-)

That's all from me for this week so please pop over to Julia's blog to check out the other desks on show this week. Have a happy Wednesday my friends.

Sorry about the spider Wipso, he's needs a clean and then you'll be glad to know, he'll have most of his legs glued to my house name, he's been waiting to go back for months! That wedding dress looks fabulous, I'd be soooo scared to touch it. No Nutella or biscuits in your work space!!! Your baby blanket looks gorgeous. I really wish I could do something useful like that! Have a good WOYWW! I'm off to work!

Glad I got to see the competed baby blanket. And that wedding dress is a wow! Yep, I can see why the mom in law would be in tears. You did a good steam job. If you had been at my place, you could have done it without any electricity or presser. Does that tell you how hot and humid it has been here?

The blanket looks really good with the crochet edges. I must relearn how to crochet.

Isn't there a saying about idle hands? I can't sit doing nothing for very long - I'm always getting told off for fidgetting when I have nothing to do.

Hi there again hot stuff! You asked about my weirdy crayon cakes - heh, I think they were odd to most visitors. I iron them onto wood blocks and papers for backgrounds. I will post a little un tutorial on it later today if you want to check, but mostly just make those little bad boys up, iron them onto stuff and coat with one million thin coats of polyurethane.
Yeah, I know....
