This week has passed so quickly. WOYWW

As a lot of you will know Twiglet and I launched our shop this week so our Fun Day Monday was spent dusting the shelves then filling them with goodies. If you've not found us yet then please click on the link on the right and go and have a rummage. We would really appreciate your feedback/comments. Thanks.

Joining in the WOYWW for this week I have snapped and uploaded my photos but as you can see my work spaces are full of clutter today. I have shown them just as they are so you know I am not always tidy and organised :-) Please feel free to pop over to Julia's and join in the fun.

We still have a lot of goodies to snap yet to fill the shelves of the shop so I have piles of cards and pictures in various stages of completion on my table.

I have also been really busy with customers for sewing this week. The snow had been keeping them away and now it has gone [it's actually snowing again now!!] they have been flooding to my door. I have already shortened huge lined curtains [with Twiglet's help to do the cutting] , put a new zip in a sheepskin coat and altered 2 posh frocks. My next job is to tackle lengthening the sleeves on a jacket that looks like a leopard. Hmmm it's very strokeable. :-) I get all sorts of challenges here.
Well my friends, I must get moving. Lots to do and shelves to fill too :-)

Do keep an eye out on the shop because as soon as we get all the shelves filled we are putting together a parcel of goodies for someone to win to say Thank you to those who have encouraged and supported us in our new venture.

Ooooo, I didn’t know about your ‘shop’….must have missed that some how so will pop in for a browse later.
Good luck with it though!

I have to say, those flowers are gorgeous and although mauve is my favourite colour, the red ones are just stunning.

I think there must be an element of self delusion going on here! This is NOT clutter... I understand clutter and this is NOT it!
Your work is stunning, your shop is fab (and I would wish you both every success)I have so much admiration for what you do, particularly the alterations which are in fact twice as difficult as making from scratch. All I can say is keep on blogging and continue to let us see the fruits of your labours!

The new Sisters Crafty Creations will be taking off soon. I just love your work. I appreciate your talents in the sewing line. When my 3 girls were little, I made all their clothes. Now they look back at pictures and just laugh and say "Look at what dorks we were, all wearing the same outfits". Well, I tried...Shelly

oh I see picture frames ready for lots of gorgeous pictures to be put in them!! Can't wait to have a look.

Snuggle bag - I went to boyes & bought some fleece. I got enough so it double thickness back & front because originally I was going to put wadding inside but the fleece is that thick I didnt need to. I'm thinking of making myself one but I'm not sure my poor little sewing machine could cope!!

I wish there was someone like you near me. My sister bought me the most gorgeous olde worlde type tunic one year but it's just to big round the body (doesn't happen often) and I don't want to part with it as it's so lovely.

Anyhoo - I just popped over to the shop, it looks lovely. Can't wait to see it all stocked up. I may be having to invest in a couple of your little bears for Christmas. Although I am trying to do a homemade Christmas - methinks on a couple if it is still handmade but by someone else... that's gotta count right? ;)

Thank you so much for your offers of help on my sewing. I will admit to a touch of fear and panic just looking at the thing but REALLY want to learn it so am going to have a getting to know you session between me and my machine this weekend ;)

Ooh blimey I'm rambling again but have been trying to catch up with people where I have been out of the loop this week and then when I get there I just yap and yap... ok ... shutting up now :o)
