Happy Friday and my 20 Minuters...

Happy Friday to one and all. The snow here is slowly going. There is water dripping everywhere you look so I guess it will be floods next in the weather warnings. I have been good this week and have done my 20 minutes of crafting every day so thought I would share the results with you. I am aiming to show and tell my 20 Minuters every Friday because I am guessing once the snow goes I will be busy with customers and blogging every day wont be possible for me.

I started off with a strip of white felt and dumfed wool rovings and threads across it's full width then cut each one into 4 and embellished each one differently...I aim never to make 2 cards exactly the same.
Each card was finished off with hand embroidery, beads or buttons. I'm really pleased with the results. 20 minutes every day [and more] has been very productive this week. Do leave me a comments to tell me what you think.

For anyone who's interested I give lots of my cards as gifts but also sell some to my customers who call in for other sewing jobs. If anyone is wanting to buy some I am more than happy to sell via my blog too and have a paypal account I use to make purchases easy. Just let me know if you're insterested.

I wish I could find the willpower to do the 20 minutes a day, you're all being so productive! I love the flower ones particularly, because I think the frayed ribbon just suits petals perfectly, but they're all great! xx

I think your cards and the technique you use is fabulous. I've never seen that done and it is so interesting. I'm glad to be following your blog and learning about all the talents that are out there... Shelly in Missouri U.S.A.

Thanks for the lovely comments. I do sell my cards usually to my customers who call in for other sewing jobs but am more than happy to sell via my blog too. I have a paypal account I use to make purchases easy. Just let me know if you're insterested.

Your Friday Posting is a GREAT idea.
We'll be able to see our progress, though I'm sure there are those whose 20/day results can't be necessarily seen.
Your dumfing art is lovely. I've never seen such remarkable work as a result of an Embellisher. You're a Talent !

Friday show day is a great idea! We can zoom round everyone's blog and see what they have been up to in detail. I hope the Flickr show takes off on MarmaladeRose too!

Those are lovely dumfy! Such pretty pieces of art. I think you should make some canvases to sell too xx

Canvases are a great idea. I saw some recently in our art gallery open exhibition- the lady had felted and embellished a piece and then stretched it gently round an artist's canvas so it covered the sides too, with neat corners like hospital corners, then presumably had stapled it onto the back - very effective and yours would be even better because of the 3D effect! xx

You are a clever soul - I just know they'll look fantastic in real life - and 'dumf' is just the best word.

Lane still perilous - but beware, I'll be out and about before too long/
