WOYWW...

A new post using a new laptop at the start of our new beginning....Hubby's retirement has started and he was presented with a new laptop for his retirement gift from the Company he used to work for so I have to learn how to use it....including a new photo programme too so here goes....

I have had the promise of several orders of bears to arrived this week plus I have been asked to make a special quilt for a new baby so I've been sorting out my fabrics in the colour range asked for and my desks today looks like this....

The request is for pale blues / greens and colours to go with them so I've sent pages of fabrics to my customer so she can choose …..she's not local so we will be organising it all over messenger but this will be the third quilt I've made for her so it's really lovely to get repeat orders as her new grandchildren arrive.  The first two were for little girls but this is for her first Grandson.

That's all that is on my desk for today but I will be busy getting to know this new laptop....we seem to be getting on well so far :-)  I also have an appointment at the dentist later so wish me luck as I hate dentists!

Hugs,
Annie x

I’m having a little chuckle here as your blog writing seemed very tentative today or is that my imagination because you’ve told us you’re using the new laptop haha.
Happy retirement Mr Wipso xxx

I hate dentists too - well, I hate visiting them - I'm sure they're nice people and they don't hurt us on purpose LOL. It's lovely that you get repeat orders - that means people love your work and that is something to be proud of! Have fun with the new quilt and the laptop I hope you'll also get a chance to put your feet up. Thanks so much for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #16

Hi Annie, that sure looks like a lot of squares. I've got to think about colours for a baby card but they don't know what sex the baby will be so I guess it will be yellow and green. If this post is anything to go on you are obviously getting used to the new laptop. I've been out with friends most of today so I am guessing you will have finished your coffee break and be back to work or even getting ready for tea. Whatever you are doing have a lovely woyww, Angela x13x

Aw nice Annie, a returning customer is gold, and the fun of getting all those fabrics out...not just to compare and contrast for the quilt, but to look on your collection and be smug!!

Hope all went well at the dentist yesterday Annie?
You must be so chuffed about being asked for the third time to create a quilt for the family. How wonderful that they can say each one has been made by the same person that's so personal and heartwarming.
You'll soon be whizzing through with the laptop, I love using them when they are new. I've a love/hate thing going on with mine due to Chrome atm but.. that's technology for us!
Have fun creating as always Annie & thanks for sharing WoywW Tracey #14

Hi Annie, lots of lovely fabrics there to be chosen from. Love the blue owls!Hope the laptop continues to behave. Really late this week, spent most of yesterday afternoon in A&E, as the breathlessness wasn't easing off. They gave me IV Antibiotics & steroids, and some nebulisers, which has helped, but it's still not what it should be. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4X

I think you're very brave to learn the new laptop, PJ and Windows 10 and the blue air coming from his office has put me off upgrading!!! Good luck but above all enjoy.
