Didn't we all have a wonderful day Saturday? Well I know I did. To be in a room surrounded by so many wonderful friends was simply perfect. Since then my feet haven't touched the ground [I took the day off work on Monday to spend it with Jan while she was close by and then had lots of Grandparent duties] so I'm afraid to say I am writing a very quick post today mainly to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all concerned.
During the day on Saturday I didn't get the chance to take a photo but I know many that have so please go over to their blogs to check out all the fun that was had on the day.
I came home with a bag full of ATCs and other wonderful shared gifts and as yet still have to find time to check them all out properly but I've spread them over on my desk for you to see them all.
I won a fabulous bag made by Elizabeth Worthington filled with goodies plus a selection of books for colouring in the draw.
These were the items of stash given to me.....trust me girls they will all be put to good use so thank you sooooo much.
I came home with orders for three Memory bears....so guess what I will be doing today?
For hosting our party Jo and I were both given these wonderful pictures that will be very proudly be hung on the walls in our sewing rooms....thank you so much girls.....and a big thank you must go to the wonderful man holding the picture for me for all his help and support leading up to and on the day to make it all go so well.
I hope you can tell just how blown away I am by the generosity, love and friendship shown to me on Saturday....hopefully normal service will resume next week but for now I have to clear my desks of all my wonderful gifts and get sewing.
Love you all lots,
Hugs,
Annie x

A huge thank you to you (and Jo) for hosting such a memorable day. So sorry I am not tall enough (that was so funny!) but great to finally meet you both, I know it won't be the last time. What a pile of goodies! Helen #2
You have a great assortment of goodies and gifts. It sounds like you had a fantastic Saturday.
I think you have it the wrong way around, the thank you is all yours, honestly. What fun and love swirled around that hall. I’m glad I was able to interrupt you briefly on Monday, bet the day flew by, just as Saturday did! I wonder if it will catch up with you soon and you’ll need a whole day of lying down. Fat chance. Enjoy making the bears, I know you’ll find them ext4a special. Xxx
Well done to you for pulling it all off. Gosh you girls have worked hard. I’m loving seeing all the photos. I feel quite giddy Annie, as if I was there myself haha

Well Annie, you and your much older sister did us proud on Saturday. Everything was just perfect.
The room was so light and spacious, really airy; the food was just spot on (I love quiches and had to have a piece of each one which is why I cut them in half again); the quiz was well thought out and a lovely idea (especially for those of us who had done absolutely nothing up to then); and the Prosecco was - well, what can i say, I love Prosecco and it was perfect to celebrate TEN years of WOYWW with a glass of bubbly!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the hard work you put into making our Anniversary so special. You did so much in the planning and prep leading up to the day - rest assured it was appreciated by 21 women and 8 men. (Have I got that number right?
Thanks also to your hubby and anyone else who worked behind the scenes in order to get the day up and running.
Loadsa Hugs, Neet 5 xx

Absolutely! Well done to that fine man who did a grand job of support, hanging banners, etc etc. He looksmtoo serious in the photo to be Doddy though, lol! Ive only ever seen him laughing! Had a lovely day in Shrewsbury yesterday, the rain held off until early afternoon so we managed a good walk around the lovely buildings. Oh, and Abakan 😉

I have to say, I'm totally jealous that I live so far away and was not able to be a part of that lively party!

Congratulations on hosting such a fun event. Sounds like everyone had a great time. I'd have loved to been there! Someday...my son will be in New Jersy 2/3 years on assignment so not that far away once on our East Coast.
Just lovely photos you have shared. Rest up, looking forward to another year of WOYWW happiness. Thank you also for the sweet ATC. Always love your creations. I treasure them all. Have a restful week. Hugs
Hi Anne, and big thanks from us for organising such a fab day. We had a wonderful time as always. Lots of amazing ATC's and gifts from everyone. Looking at your ATC's, I think I forgot to give you one, so will pop it in the post! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X
It was so lovely to meet you in person, Annie and thank you for the little coaster you gave me in addition to the ATC. It's so perfectly stitched! I would love to be able to sew like that! I didn't realise there was a poem with it until I saw it on Caro's blog just now. So sweet! I really enjoyed meeting everyone - if only for a short time. Hope to see those new memory bears next time! zsuzsa #26
I have my goodies carefully packed in a box as I want them to arrive home safely! We have just spent a very warm day with torrential downpours at Lost Gardens of Heligan. Two pairs of wet and muddy trainers are hanging by their shoelaces from the wing mirrors-how common! Looking forward to seeing the finished bears. X
Thank you so much for hosting such a wonderful day on Saturday and making me feel so welcome. It was truly so special to meet you after knowing you on-line all this time. Thank you for my special bears! Happy WOYWW, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx
Hi Annie, a really big thank you to you and Jo for making Saturday such a happy, memorable day. It truly was amazing - the room, the food, the quiz, the Prosecco, the cake - you really had thought of everything, and for that we are all very grateful. I have to ask ... who did you pass the banner on to at the end of the day? Thank you for the lovely coaster, there were some wonderful ATCs and gifts exchanged. I think I spent the entire day smiling. Not much crafting, but plenty of chatting! Have a lovely week Heather xx #6
Hi Annie. It's a wonderful thing you do to get all the ladies together and you deserve all those gorgeous gifts. Sent you an email too so wont say so much here just wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x17x
I am so sorry to have taken so long to visit. Unfortunately, my electricity was off this afternoon and into the night due to the storms. Now it is back on and I'm trying to play catch up.
First, I am so glad you and that "much" older sister got an ATC. You deserved it for all the work you put in to make this a very successful crop. As I told Jan, I have ribbon envy. What a fabulous gift you received. Happy WOYWW from #3.
Many thanks again to both you and Jo for all your hard work which made Saturday such a fabulous day. Glad you had a bit more time to catch up properly with Jan. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1
You and Jo did a fabulous job by all accounts. Well done. Nothing more exciting than going through bags of goodies. Hope you have a good week. Ani #19
THANK YOU for a wonderful Saturday. The location, the food, the layout were just soooooo brill. Your hard work is sooo appreciated.
I hope you can enjoy the calmer atmosphere now!
