WOYWW.....

There's rather a lot been going on my desk here at Sewing by Annie's this week so I'm just going to run through it in pic for you now...

As many of you will know we celebrated little Theo's birthday on Sunday afternoon [he's actually 1 tomorrow but his mummy has now started back to work so we celebrated early].
Here's the bunting I made decking the hall....I had many lovely comments made about it too.
It was a Pater rabbit themed messy play party....more pics to come on my Friday smile post at the end of the week.  A wonderful time was had by all and I just know many of you will be impressed with the cake his mummy made for him so it's well worth calling in to check it out.

Here's the play mat / bag I made for him...there is a draw string going around the edge to make a bag with it so it can hold some of his toys.

I appliqued two little vests for him to get messy in at the party....cute eh?

This week over on my Facebook page I've got a special offer on my Memory bears....you get 10% off if you order and get the items of clothing to me before this Friday at 5pm.  When my customers call in I need to be able to show them the sort of things I make so I have put pics of the 50!! bears I have made all together on 4 sheets to have them to hand.....impressive eh?

These are two of my latest bears I've made and.....

......here's the next one in the making....This one was posted to me so she didn't miss out on my special offer.......Plus I am expecting at least another 6 to arrive this week!!

As they say....it seemed like a good idea at the time  :-)

I really love making my bears and especially the fact that each one is different and hold special memories for each customer.

Just in case you think that's all I've been doing this week.....I've also shortened three layers on the beautiful pale peach bridesmaid's dress and the hems on the 3 nurses dress uniforms hanging on my rail.....I wouldn't want you to think I've been slacking hehehe.

Thanks for calling by.  I will do my best to call by at yours but some idiot has offered money off on my Memory bears for the week and I am going to be rather busy  :-) :-)
Hugs,
Annie x

Hi Annie, laughed at the 'Seemed like a good idea at the time'. The bears are always gorgeous though, so I'm not surprised you are snowed under. Or should that be BEAR-ied? Couldn't resist that, sorry. :)The hall looks great, love the bunting colours, and the Peter Rabbit babygro is stunning. Yes, looking forward to the crop too- 3 weeks now. :) Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxX

You slacking! Never.
Love the appliquéd vests so sweet and cute and the play-mat. What a brilliant idea to be able to turn it into a bag.
Glad you are busy, you deserve to be as I can vouch, you are the best!

Hi Annie, little Theo one already - where does the time go??? The play mat/bag is such a good idea and will be used for a long time ... cars never go out of fashion. The little vests are super - love the rabbit applique. I always love your teddies but it's the purple one has got to be one of your best - love the flower on her tummy. I don't know how you manage to shorten so many pairs of trousers so quickly - you make me feel like such a slowcoach :) Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Ellie x #25

Hi Annie. You are so busy as always. The party sounds wonderful all round. I saw your Memory Bear Offer- had though about sending the shirt and cardy that belonged to dad ( I think I mentioned it to you before) I might bring them to the crop - I think you are going. I doubt I will get round to making so may commission you then to make one for me :-) we will see :-)
Thanks for popping by. My mum's situation is far from resolved unfortunately and I worry so much but just hope that it will get sorted, at the moment she is close by and safe.

Blimey, hard to believe a year has passed already, what a fab party afternoon you must have had, love the romper vests, thoughtful!
I thought the nurses uniforms were school uniforms, wondered why anyone would bother to take them up - grow into them I was thinking!!

I hope the making of the bears is a bit relaxing really...coz there ain't half going to be a lot of them1
