WOYWW.....

Here we are at another Wednesday....the last week has simply flown for me.  The first thing I have to say is sorry for the lack of visits I made last week. What with twinnie school runs, sewing in between plus all the puppy duties my blogging time just disappeared....please believe me when I say my intensions were good and I will do my best to do better this week.

So what is on my desk today?

Yes....what else did you expect?  It's yet more gorgeous fabric.....and yes it is more new fabric but I'm allowed to buy this because it's for a very special project.  These are the fabrics I've bought to make a little quilt for the moses basket I am setting up ready for the next little family member due in September.  I love the colours...what do you think?

I'm wadding the lining for the moses basket but keeping the lining neutral in colour so it can be used for any future babies.

These are the latest swapped ATCs I have received....aren't they simply gorgeous?  I have had so many, each one different and each one made with love.  Thank you to each and every one of you....I really feel blessed to have so many blogging friends all around the world.

Of course I know you will all want to see how little Milly is settling in....here she is after a hard days sewing stretched out in her fav place....on the leather settee in the living room!!  She gets away with murder as you can see and is totally spoiled. :-)

That's all from me for today....I will do my best to call over to see what you've been up to as soon as I'm able.
Hugs,
Annie x

What a lovely baby basket that is going to be, made with lots of love and each stitch meaning something special.
Don't worry about the visit to me, if you don't have time - concentrate on that new fur baby you have, she is so adorable.
Sending hugs and love to all

The ATCs are gorgeous aren't they. As you say, each one of them made with love. It is a privilege to receive them.
Millie is totally lovely. Don't spoil her too much as you have to live with an impossible Millie for the rest of her life...
Thanks for visiting,
Happy WOYWW,

Hi Annie, lovely fabrics, and great idea to keep it neutral. Reminds me of my Mom knitting for babies, back in the day when you only knew what you were getting when it arrived! lol. It was always white, lemon or a pale mint green. Millie is really nicely settled, isn't she? I only had a CT 4 months ago, so the chances are it's nothing important. The thing with having them so regularly, you sort of live from one to the next, but equally its reassuring because anything will be caught really early. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #6 xxx

OMG, I love the moses basket & can't wait to see the finished quilt. Funnee story, I picked up a moses basket before I was ever even married, when I did get pregnant years later when I went to pick up the basket I stored at my mom's, I found out she had used it as a dog bed & had cut an opening in the side. I was crushed! Blessings, Donna #9

Hi Annie, the Moses basket is going to be lovely. It brings back memories as I did one of these for my cousin years ago.
Ah Millie! she has obviously got you taped mate! I said when we got Maisie and Stan that there would be no more sitting on furniture but if you've seen any of their photos you will know it did not happen.
Thanks for the visit to mine and have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 15

Oh my goodness Annie, that Moses Basket is stunning! I love neutral colors for babies because I am a firm believer in using more than once and passing down! Just gorgeous! Those ATC's are just fabulous! That Milly is a cutie! Have a blessed Wednesday, Felicia #36

Happy WOYWW. A Cairn Terrier! A breed I have always loved - such characters. We have Buzz - a Jack Russell, who is a real sweetie. Loving all of the ATCs. I haven't joined in with swaps for years, but still go back and look at my folders of ATCs (that is an idea for a blog post!). Ali x #48

Beautiful atc's and I do love the moses basket and thought at first it was going to be for Milly. But I see she has made herself quite comfortable on the lounge.

Oh Milly is so cute. Hehe she'll have you all wrapped her little paws & running your house before you know it!! My Mr Baxter is spoiled too. But as he's a rescue and an old dog I have to be quite strict with him. But he seems to prefer me setting him rules and boundaries. The best advice I was given and as it happened it totally works for Baxter is that I've bought the best food I can afford. A non branded biscuit from pet shop. I started off with brands from supermarket but it hyped him, and exagerrated his insecurities. He's a changed dog now on better food, much calmer. Any way sorry I'm late, not been so good, now dashing round and catching up! Take care Zo xx 29
