This week's smiles...week 117

There weren't so many of you last week with smiles to share so I'm not selecting just one of you out of the 5 that linked up but would like to say a big thank you to all 5 of them.....come on girls I'm sure you can all find a little something in your lives that has made you smile and you'd be willing to share with the rest of us....the world really is a happier place if you do.  How does the saying go?.....'Smile and the world smiles with you'

Thanks to those who also joined in the fun with a slogan for the pic....Loved them.

This weeks write a slogan pic is...
And my slogan is....Three rounds in the boxing ring, two black eyes and still they only feed me bamboo shoots!

So my smiles I'm sharing this week.....of which there were loads :-)....

It was our daughter Amy's 30th birthday party last Saturday so you can well imagine we did a lot of smiling that night.  They held the party at their home and invited just close family and friends and what a wonderful time we all had.
There was a hog roast, a small marquee, live entertainment and drinks in cooling....what more could we ask for?

Sam thought it hilarious that the beer had been put in an old tin bath full of water to keep it cool.  :-)

After all the gorgeous sunshine we had been having it was a shame that it was so cold Saturday for the party but as you could see here the men in the family soon set to to light some fires....it's a man thing you know [the hunter / gatherer comes out in them all at times like these].  :-)

Lexi has started her ballet classes again and was happy to pose for us all in her new tutu, tights and ballet shoes....Isn't she growing up so quickly?  :-)

My last pic was of some of the creative fun I had with the twins this week....you might recognise Little Miss Muffet with her spider, Little Red Riding Hood, Grandma, 3 wolves , Tinky Winky and three little Piggies.  Oh what fun we have.  They both use scissors really well now even though Sam is a lefty and it took him a little longer than his sister to learn.

It's so good to see little ones being creative and their vocabulary seems to grow every day because of it.  :-)

Well there you go folks. Thanks for calling by.  Those are just some of my smiles.  Please try to find a little something in your lives that has made you smile this week and link them up below and lets see if we can make the world a happier place.

Hugs,
Annie x

Hi Annie, just having my afternoon cuppa and realised it was Friday so rushed in to find a couple of photos to share. I'm not much good with captions but that panda sure does look like I feel after a good mornings work in the garden...not one ounce of energy left. Nothing better than a fire for an outdoors do. Lexie looks gorgeous in her ballet outfit and yes I'm glad we can encourage the kids to enjoy craft, looking forward to when Sophie is older. Cheers, hugs and have a wonderful weekend Robyn

Love the picture of Sam, his face is just so lovable!
I'm not sure about the panda - it looks like he's having a 'when I grow up I want to be a...' thought.

Hi Annie, love the photo of the panda, and your slogan :) Like the tin bath full of beer too. I'm not surprised it amuse Sam. And Lexi in her tutu is adorable. Both the twins are growing up far too fast, but then I said that about my grandchildren and now they are having children of their own ... life goes on :) We are babysitting Arihanna tomorrow afternoon and looking forward to it. We've also had good news about my sister, Margaret, she is getting out of hospital on Monday. All-in-all, it's going to be a good Bank Holiday weekend :) Hope yours is too. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

I love the panda though as usual I have drawn a blank for a caption.
I like the photo of Sam. I suppose a load of bottles in a bath tub does look pretty funny to him. The one of Lexi in her ballet clothes is adorable. And they have a talented Grandma to start them on their crafting journey.
Glad you had a good party. The weather never really matters when the family gets together. Kate x

Don't you just want to pick that Sam up and hug him - he is so cute - especially when he laughs. Lexi is certainly growing up and looks adorable in her ballet outfit.
Made me smile - and I love the panda.
