WOYWW....

Hi folks.  Here we are at another Wednesday full of fun.  I've not had a lot of customer's sewing to do this week so have been having creative fun so that's what I've got to share with you today.

Last week I showed you a pile of fat quarters that I had got out to give me inspiration for a little project I had in mind.  I chose a selection I felt went together well, took a big breath and actually cut into them to do some crazy patchwork with [not something I find easy to do but Julia gave me a good talking to last week ;-) ]

They are just my favourite colours and I really love the finished effects of the patchwork with the machine embroidery along the seams....can you tell I have really enjoyed playing with this little project?

And of course I have now used this finished piece of patchwork....to cover a book for a special little gift for a friend.

Of course I'd caught the crazy patchwork bug with that project so I am now using some more of my favourite fabrics and a more random patchwork style on my next project.

It's been so lovely to have time to be creative this week.....I wonder what my time this next week will be filled with?  :-)

That's all from me for today.  I'm still taking names for the 6th year anniversary ATC swap so if you are wanting to swap with me and haven't yet emailed me your details then let me know and I will put your name on one :-)  Hope you all have a great week.  Leave me a little comment to say you've called in and I will do my best to pay you a return visit.
Hugs,
Annie x

Sorry I missed last Friday, but I just read the post and can agree that was a LOT to smile about.

I'm in total AWE of this book cover. it is gorgeous, and so is the fabric you used. Happy last Wed before the crop from #9.

Oh how I envy you who quilt. My dream is to do a "Crazy Quilt" from the "OLD" fabrics. Hahahahahahaha..... I would like to exchange ATC's. Will package yours and Jo's together if that is ok.
Finally getting caught up, it's been a long haul on that job. Happy WOYWW have fun at the Crop. I'd love to attend. !!
Maybe if my sons returns to Germany someday to check on his house.

Those colours are so lovely together. I always feel better on days when I've managed to squeeze in a little bit of creative time. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Hi Annie...oooooh I'm loving your crazy patchwork...I would find that so hard to do, maybe a small project to test it...do you keep the grain of the fabric straight?? The colours of both pieces are beautiful...so have a fabulous time playing. Cheers RobynO#15

Love your crazy patchworks, Annie. Beautiful colour combinations. Your friend is a very lucky lady indeed :)

I was diagnosed with asthma about 18 years ago. It came as a bit of a shock, as I'm sure it was for you, but coming to terms with it didn't take long and got to grips with the puffers quickly too. Up until I had the pneumonia I would have said it was well controlled but it's been a bit of a bumpy road since. Thankfully it has settled down again now, I'll just be ultra careful through the winter in the hope that I never get that ill again. Hopefully, once the medication takes effect, you will be able to get out into your garden again and laugh at the pollen levels as I do :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
