WOYWW

Hello all.  We have had a strange thing up in the sky here for a day or two...it's big, yellow and very bright....if anyone has any idea what it is please send answers on a postcard  :-) :-)

Doesn't it make you feel better when it's warmer and not raining?  I'm sorry to say it wasn't like this on Saturday morning while we had our sale....It was very cold and very damp so we put chairs in the front of our garage so folk could enjoy their coffee in there  :-)  It was lovely to see a lot of old friends but alas many were missing due to becoming too old and frail and suffering ill health. Old age rarely comes alone I'm sorry to say.

I've had another busy week with lots of customers and for those wondering I am now up to 1170...I actually had 6 more new customers last week!  The business is really booming even though I put my prices up a little from the beginning of April this year...the first increase in 3 years!  I like to check with other businesses in the area before putting up my prices and for 5 jobs that I do regularly that I had been charging £55 for they were charging £103 in Shrewsbury.....I guess that's why I have lots of customers eh?

So? What is on my desk this week?

The simple answer is....... lots......... but not a lot I can share with you just yet  :-)

.....But I will say my little box of ATCs is filling....Jo and I had a creative Funday Monday making a few more for the 3rd Birthday celebrations next week.  I would love to, not only send one to my pay it forward WOYWWer, but am happy to, do a swap with any of the wonderful friends I have made during the last three years so please email me with your details if you fancy swapping with me.

I've finished two of the little dolls for the twins....and they love them  :-)

I'm still only able to knit for short spells before my hands ache but I've managed to finish Lexi's latest cardigan.   :-)
I do love Crofter baby wool.

That's all I can share with you today so please leave me a little 'hello' message before you pop over to Julia's to join in the WOYWW fun and I will do my best to pay you a return visit. Don't forget to email me with your address if you fancy swapping ATCs next week for our birthday celebrations [in addition to the pass it forward one of course].  I feel so very blessed to have made so many wonderful friends in the last 3 years so it would be really fab if some of you would like to swap with me.

The little cardigan is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to swap an ATC with you and Jo next week. I am trying something with a textile theme just for you two!! I planned to contact you next week but seeing you mentioned it I thought I would jump the queue!

It's lovely to work in the sunshine with the birds singing. Off to open the studio door now and enjoy the day. I've a bag to send of to Slaidburn and one to the USA.
Don't forget to take a breather will you.
Will go and have a peep at more of your goodies first,

I love Crofter wool too, knitted my hubby a jumper in green tones last year - the pink is so sweet!
Given the past weeks, I simply haven't had time to make ATCs to swap, but am there with you in spirit. Am doing a giveaway instead :)
Thanks for your love and support over the recent weeks,
Hugs, LLJ #57 xx

Wow, all those ATCs, you have been busy. Haven't made one yet so don't want to commit to swapping but if all goes well and I make more than one I'd love one of yours.
Looks like your business is thriving - onwards and upwards.

Thanks for visiting

The dolls are gorgeous and love the little cardi! Well done on getting more customers - you probably do a much better job than that other company too, for all that they charge so much. Happy WOYWW, Anne #18

Oh Annie, what a super post. All at sixes and sevens here - trying to be a swan on the surface and paddling like a crazy duck under the water line. Doubt if I'll manage the ATCs which is a shame :(

Love, Di xx

The cardigan is very sweet, and the dollies are darlings. I reckon you could definitely put your prices up a tad. There's a fine line between being too expensive for the customer, and appearing to be too cheap. I've had that tussle in my own business too. It's a balancing act isn't it, and it sounds as though biz is growing nicely. :-)

I see you’re still been as busy as ever while I’ve been away Annie, nothing changes there!

It’s a shame that the weather wasn’t good for your sale at the weekend because it would have brought more people out but I hope it still went well and you sold lots of things.

I hadn’t realised that the 3rd anniversary was almost upon us so if I’m going to join in I need to get my finger out.

Have a good week and ……
Happy Crafting!

Wow Annie. Just how many ATCs have you done there? I haven't started mine yet, but I have tonight and tomorrow - albeit 55 mins left of tonight!
I can report desks were messy by wednesday night as my friend came over so we messed them up!
