I feel it was worth the effort....

I know a lot of you were fascinated by me using two balls of wool to knit the fronts and sleeves so the pattern in the wool matched when knitting my latest little hoody.  I finished it last night and though you would like to see how it worked out.

I'm so pleased with it and really love the little toggles I've managed to find for it.  What do you think?  Wasn't it worth the effort to get the matching two halves?.

Is the wool 'Merry-go-round'?
I always buy two balls of wool to do the same thing - but then you have lots of wool left! I have created a jumper which I will be blogging about soon!

Hello! Sorry not to have been by for quite a while - don't feel it's 'you' I haven't been any where for a while. Have just had a lovely catch up read and am so impressed with everything. Loved your anniversary blog I can't believe it's been two years! Well done you. & you've been so busy making and creating, goodness knows how you've managed to do 'proper' sewing too!
Much love

PS I've met Prince Charles too - lovely but, as you say, rather shorter than expected!

You have so much patience to do this with matching balls of wool but it has been well worth the effort. It looks so professional.

It looks gorgeous:) I remember my son, as a baby, in a similar knitted jacket. It was in shades of brown and he looked as if he'd come straight from the pages of Lord of the Rings!
