This week's smiles....week 370

Hello all and happy Friday to each and every one of you.  I've been head down sewing hard and fast all week so I have had to take out a little time to share my smiles with you all...it does me good and you're certainly worth it.  :-)

Firstly I'm sharing the smiles the family have shared with us this week....

Theo has enjoyed time playing with his farm and animals on his builders tray.  He's also made a Very Hungry caterpiller and then told us the story on Facetime.  He's also spent some lovely time drawing....quite a little artist in the making I think?

Amy's three have drawn a huge snakes and ladder game out on their yard and have had lots of fun out there and while Steve was playing football one day the two girls had an art lesson in their garden drawing some of the flowers :-)

Lexi took part in her dance group's 9 hours sponsored dance to rais money for NHS....and between her and her little friend they raised over £400 so we are very proud of the girls.

Sam has had his guitar lesson and then sat and played what he had learnt to us...he's reading music and learning very quickly now.

It's so easy when shopping on line to click the wrong box isn't it?

Guess who will be making lots more flapjacks now :-)

And to finish off here's the latest bloomers from our garden to make you smile this week.

I hope you have found something to make you smile and will leave me a little comment then link up to your own smiles below....we can never have too many can we?

Hugs,
Annie x

As a nursery manager (retired), I can say that Theo really is an excellent artist for his age. His concentration when playing is also very good.
Amy's three are so lucky to have such a wonderful are to play in, and they seem to be making the best of it.
Well done to Lexi and Sam. Great achievements from both of them.
And as usual, your garden is beautiful. i am so glad you have had the weather to enjoy it, even if it is only to grab a short coffee break between sewing.
And the bag of oats really did make me smile. I hope you enjoy flapjack as much as I do!
Hugs Kate xx

Good morning, lovely photos of the children playing, they seem to be coping and they have a lovely garden to play in.
Gorgeous flowers in the garden and well done to your DGD for raising all that money, well done.
I think there must be lots of people who order online and don't get what they expect, ha,ha,

Take care

Ah the big bag of oats (and your hubby's facial expression) made me smile this morning! Oh well, you win a few etc.
Well done Lexi and Phoebe for raising such a big amount of money!
I do love little Theo and his concentration. Great drawings.
Amy's three are really very fortunate that they have such a lot of space to play in. Snakes and ladders looks great fun.
As do art lessons.
Well done Sam for persisting at learning the guitar. It is not an easy instrument to learn but a lot of fun when you can produce a few decent chords.
Mary Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow! Well, you garden ismagnificent! It is a delight to look at those lovely flowers.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs (virtual ones are allowed),
Lisca

Hi Annie, bet you thought I'd got lost just had a few things to do today. Great to see the children doing well and lovely art work from Theo. I think you've done well to be able to order on-line. I went onto Morrisons and there were 2300 in front of me. Sadly we can't do this for my mum as she can't get to the door easily to collect the delivery and then hasn't the strength to carry it and pack it away but the Wiltshire Farm man will still put his stuff in the freezer for her as long as she gives him plenty of room so at least it's just milk and bread mostly that she needs oh! and crisps and chocolate........ Your garden's looking lovely, nice flowers. Thanks for the lovely comments over at mine too. Sending hugs, Angela xXx

I love how imaginative all your grandchildren are-they are always keeping busy even when their routines are so different just now. Your garden photos are a pleasure as always. Catriona

Thanks for being a blessing, dear Annie and sharing smiles!
Loved the threesome with their snakes and ladders, reminded me of our hopscotch days, we played on road as very deserted there. Sam will make a great musician if he keeps it up lie that, lovely work by Lexi and her friend such good idea! And Theo’s art work is wonderful.
Flowers stunning and smiles at DH blooper! Guess better too much than too little!
May God bless you too, especially in these uncertain days, for He is a sure Rock to those who trust in Him! Praying you’re all kept really well too! Great job on those masks too and memory bears too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x
