WOYWW....

Wahooooooo I have proper desks to show you today and I've been sewing on them too  :-)

To the left as you come in the room is my long work desk with my Janome and Bernina computerised machines on and my embellishing machine....or dumfer :-)  My darling hubby has also put me up shelves for my ribbon jars....don't they look fab?

To the right is my industrial sewing machine down the far end behind my cutting station....this is on casters so it can be moved to where ever it's needed.  :-)

Turn around and on the left as you go out the door is another work desk with my blind hemmer and over locker on.

There are more shelves to go up yet and more finishing touches but I love it.  The boxes you can see in the Ikea Expedit cupboard under my over locker will be filled with my fabrics [well some of it at least] so I can't wait to have time to sort it all......feel free to pop over to give a hand if you're free :-)

Thanks for calling by to see my work desk.  If you leave me a little message so I know you've called in I will pop over to yours to see what you've been up to this week.....Oh and if you can please try to snap a happy pic and link up to my Friday smiles cos we can never have too many smiles.
Hugs,
Annie x

Well, just...SWOON! It looks great, no wonder you're post is bubbling with enthusiasm! Lovely to have been able to plan a space that contains what you need in a working order that makes sense. It 's lovely, and the ribbon jars and the coloured fabric 'boxes' make it very personal and friendly.

I would love to help sort your fabric stash. I bought some of those 'boxes' for the Expedit last time we were in IKEA. Cheap and cheerful :-)

Your room looks wonderful, Annie. So neatly laid out - fantastic. Well done to you and your little helpers!
Thanks for visiting. John still isn't well, but he's hopefully getting there. Trouble is that infectious bugs are little whatsits! They somehow hide behind one another - so you get rid of the first, only to discover another rearing its ugly head! However, John is at home, and we are hoping for a long weekend away - That will push up the mileage for this year!!!
By the way - did you ever discover what that plant was? You took a photo of some leaves - oh, ages ago now - was wondering what they turned out to be?
Take care. God bless.

Oh Annie, it is a dream of a room. So light and airy too, but so much working area and what a lot of machines you have. Crikey!
I am so pleased for you, it must be pure heaven for you to go in, I can just imagine I would be going in and just sitting drinking it all in and doing nothing. All the hard work has come to fruition, may you have many many happy hours in there.
Hugs, Neet 15 xx
