What a lovely week I've had so far.....
  • Sunday was our gorgeous Grandson Stephen's christening [see post below] so it was spent in the company of family and friends and a truly wonderful time was had by all.
  •  Monday was spent having fun with my 'much older sister' Jo...and what fun we had too.  We chatted, giggled, entertained my two hunky firemen who clean my windows [yes I did say firemen] , drank coffee and dumfed....and here are my latest results that will be heading for our blog shop very soon when I've found the time to bead them up.

  • Yesterday was spent with my gorgeous munchkins.  Lots of fun was had by all.

And today?  What's on my work desk today?

This is my latest prom dress.  It has 6 layers to the skirt, all needing shortening and I have to take the bodice in to fit....Lots and lots of work but I love the challenge and it is such a pretty colour too.

Some of you will remember the ABC bag I made for the twins.  It included a 'f'' for fish but alas the little fish met it's doom when their chocolate Labrador ate it so I have made a replacement one....not easy to do as the details of the last one was printed on the fabric but I'm sure this one looks fishy enough  :-)

The other thing I wanted to share with you is my fab new business signs that our daughter Amy and her hubby  Dave printed for me.  As I now close on a Tuesday to look after the twins I needed my hours of business changing on my signs.  I'm thrilled to bits with the new signs so thank you both so much.

If anyone wants any business signs / banners making then you can follow their link to find out more.

Last but by no means least these are two of my latest ATCs from the birthday swap.
22. Jane and
23. Cardarian

Thank you so much girls.  I love them.

Hope you've enjoyed my little catch up this week.  Please leave me a comment before you rush off to visit Julia and join in the WOYWW fun and I will do my best to pay you a return visit when I can find a minute.
Annie x

Now looking through your post - love the photo of the grandson, such a happy little chappie.
Then - gorgeous dumfing, beautiful dress but oh what a challenge for you - I would be lost! The fish - looks great to me and the sign, well did I not see it last week - sneak preview?
Finally - great atc's - bet you have a lovely collection now.

What a lovely little boy, so happy, and I had a peep at the photos of your Grandchildren in the pop-up ball pool and in the toy box. When I was little our 'toy box' was a bottom drawer, my favourite game was to tip out all the toys and sit in my 'boat'.

You always pack your post with so many interesting things, Annie, you have such a busy life.
Your Grandson looks so handsome, what a cutie he is.
It doesn't seem two minutes since it was time for all those prom dresses to have an airing, is it really that time of year again.

Love the dress/desk! 6 layers, that is a hell of a lot of work. Good luck with it. And fab dumphing. One of these days, when I get a permanent job, I'm going to treat myself to a piece. And then put it on my desk. It's good to have a dream!

Stephen's grin is infectious - what a character he's shaping up to be! So glad you had a wonderful day for his Christening, a lovely family occasion. We were in Wales for my Dad's 90th birthday, happy and sad all rolled into one.....
Love your dumfings, they really are beautiful. Is the technique easy??

Hi Annie,

What a cutie Stephen is! He has quite the personality, doesn't he. I can see it all over his cute little face!

The dumfing looks wonderful.

Now, I have to ask, how does one get firemen to clean your windows?

Thanks for visiting me already!

Your Grandson looks so cute and so grown up in his christening finery.
That is so unfair showing me all those gorgeous poppies. Just bought one from Jo via the shop.
Lots going on in my life just lately so there has been no time in which to partake with WOYWW.I keep tabs but just can't always comment. hugs Mrs A.

You’ve certainly had a full week Annie…………… as usual!
It always amazes me how you manage to fit everything in.

I wasn’t aware that dogs like the taste of fish, I thought that was only cats, Lol! You’ve done a great job with the replacement thought and the markings look fine to me.

Little Stephen looks really cute in his little suit and he looks so happy too

Thanks for stopping by this week.

Happy Crafting!

I had to chuckle at the idea of the fish being eaten by the lab. And how funny (Monday's post), that you sit and have a cuppa with a chocolate biscuit (Rocky) and a chocolate bar (Wispa).... LOL....

Lovely work - that prom dress is indeed fabulous. was it just a turn up or did you have to take scissors to it? If the latter, I hope you kept the clippings to recycle!!!

Sorry I'm a bit late this week....

Hi Annie, thank you so much for your kind words, I am sorry I haven't visited over the last few weeks but as you can imagine family life has been quite difficult. Your comment made me feel like I had made the right decision and I really appreciate that. Wow I really love the sign, such a cute pic of Stephen, I would like your window cleaners!!!, love the felt/embroidery flowers they look stunning. Gorgeous ATC's I'm in the middle of putting mine on the wall, I received 3 and they were beautiful. I think you should be well impressed with your fish and I agree the prom dress looks stunning. I'm not so sure my daughter will be wearing something so beautiful, she prefers black jeans, black tops etc and has told me that she would like a dress from blue banana!! don't get me wrong they are quite cheap at £40 but most of them have skulls on!!!! Happy woyww :-) Kerry xxx
