WOYWW...

Phew. Another week has passed and it's been so hectic here.  Poor M has been in and out of hospital more times than we can remember....each time her contractions have been a little stronger and more regular but they still manage to ease off and she ends up being allowed home with her ever growing baby bump.  One day she just might come out with two little babies  :-)

Last night we had our other daughter A here with her two little treasures and her ever growing baby bump.  Bless her she is almost as big as her sister now and is only carrying one baby! [and you know me, I just had to snap a quick pic] I have a feeling he will be an 8lb plus little boy  :-) ...she has just 4 weeks left now.

Here is a quick snap of A's two little treasures.  They are such gorgeous girls and are both real little entertainers.  We had a very special evening.

So?  I hear you ask.  What is on my work desk today?

More b****** curtains.  I have to cut off the 3" tape off the top and replace it so it's pretty straight forward.....just a lot of material to handle so not one of my fav jobs.  I've had a pretty busy week with my sewing business and juggling being an expectant Nanny and the disturbed nights that goes with it so have made very few little African dresses.  Twiglet is making enough for both of us at the mo though as you will have seen over on her blog.

This is one little dress that I have managed to make though.  It's made with some of the fabric given to me by one of my customers and I've added some machine embroidery and a little bow to the pocket.  Cute eh?

Well folks that's about all from me today.  I need to get my head down and get my sewing done before I'm called upon for Nanny duties again.  Please keep your fingers crossed for M that her twinnies arrive soon and I promise you will will post pics as soon as they come out to play.  Thanks to you all for your lovely comments.

All these lovely babies you will have to play with! My mum has been over to stay with my sister (who has moved nearer her daughter ready for the birth of the twins). Today she is going on the bus to take her older grandson to nursery and see where everything is. Fingers crossed we won't be waiting too long either.

Well Annie if you havent got enough on your plate right now the blinking curtains have to make an appearance too!

Daughter A is looking so swell at the moment! And to think its another 4 weeks for her! I reckon he will be closer to 9lbs meself going by the size of her and as for her 2 adorable little girls!! Awwwww, it takes me way back to the 80's as I see your beautiful image of them looking so scrumptious!

Any day now your lives are gonna be changing with the imminent arrival of little twinnies! It is just so lovely to share in the excitement with all, obviously though Annie, we your loyal and ardent followers arent as exhausted and dont need the matches just yet though!

Not long now!

I think you’re going to need a long holiday after all this Annie, but in reality is not very likely to happen, is it? Never mind, you’re going to have three beautiful new babies to love and cuddle.
I really hope that things get a move on for all of you, especially ‘M’ and that your work load doesn’t get too much over the next few week otherwise you’ll be fit for nothing so take care of yourself hun.
Happy Crafting!

You know Annie - there's no law that says you have to make the little dresses - I realise you want to, but they will keep until a status quo returns...it'll be fine! Both daughters are gorgeous in their pregnancies huh, and again, love and gentle squeezes to M.

That is a heckofa bump! Hopefully it will arrive soon and you can turn your hand to sewing for a loved one. I think the dress is just so sweet - shame DD won't wear a dress under any circumstances :)

Can't believe you're all still waiting, poor M having to go through that! And poor you on tenterhooks waiting! Keep your mind and hands occupied, which of course you are! Bet the little sisters are excited at the prospect of brothers and cousins all at once!

Gorgeous photos of the little ones, can't wait to see your latest editions. They do tend to come in their own time regardless of what we do. Best of luck with the curtains a job I always feel should be handed over to the professionals!

I got here so late, I almost left my WOYWW message on Thursday's post. And yes, I think you two are trying to make dresses for every child in the world, not just the ones in the African villages. Hope M delivers soon and your other daughter must not be far behind. I think it must be something in the water (GRIN!).
