WOYWW....

Here we are at yet another Wednesday and it's a quick count down now til Christmas will be upon us.
I've got a box with completed cards in...

Think I've finished about 30 now.

I've a silk frame with outlines done for a few more Christmas cards but have a feeling I may have to buy a few this year as a little matter of a house move has sort of thrown a spanner in the works lol.

A picture of our house on the internet....

Wahoo wahoo wahoo.....can you tell I'm a little excited?

So things are slowly being dismantled ...this was a shelf where I stored my boxes of fabrics.

So they are now stacked in a corner of a room!

There are boxes of books, pictures and ornaments being stacked in our conservatory...they will be covered with a festive cloth ready for tonight so my 5 little pixies, that are coming later, can put the Christmas tree on top to decorate for us.  :-)  I love having them all together at times like this so packing will wait....and Christmas might be a little limited this year but we will still have lots of fun.

Jo and I lost a dear Uncle last week and we will be at his funeral today so I will probably have to call by to see what you've all been up to tomorrow....but I will do my best to call in.  Please leave me a little message to say you've called....and feel free to pack a box or two for us while you're here  :-)
Hugs,
Annie x

WOYWW....

Happy Wednesday to one and all.  These weeks are really whizzing by aren't they?  I'm having a catch up day today cos I had a 'Nanny Annie' day yesterday.  M popped out for the day with the twins so the sewing was firmly put on the 'to do' rail....it can always wait cos my little Grandies will be all grown up before I know it.

So  folks whats on my desks today?

Here is my table covered with the gorgeous fabric kits Jo from Jozart bought for our new arrivals so I'm busy working on these in between other jobs....I know the babes will have to be rather older before they will play with them but I really am enjoying all the snipping, sewing and stuffing.

My kitchen is smelling wonderful cos these have just come out of the oven....Parmesan and sun dried tomato rolls today....please help yourselves to one for lunch.

My sewing desk is showing off two new Really Useful Boxes that now hold my cones of thread used for overlocking.....these should keep some of the dust out [that is if I ever put the tops on! ]

Here you can see two lovely pieces of fabric that I intend making a couple of little dresses for little Lexi.  Twiglet took a pattern off a little dress that fits Lexi well and has already made her 3 little dresses so running up a couple more will be easy.

My ironing board is covered with Christmas fabrics.  I have so many!  I plan to make my Christmas cards and stockings using these  :-)
Watch this space as they say  :-)

This is a pot full of Cuttlebugged flowers cut from some of the Christmas fabrics and a sheet of cross stitched little robins.....wonder what these will become?.....even I don't know yet  :-)

And finally for those that like to see how the twinnies are growing here is the latest photo.... awwwwww.  I snapped this quick for you yesterday while they were here with me for the day with their Mummy.
Their Mummy and Daddy are doing such a great job that they now weigh in at...

Sam 9lb 13oz
and
Lexi 7lb 14oz

So folks that's what's on my 'desks' today.  Clutter clutter everywhere and lots to do on my 'to do' rail too  :-)  Please leave me a little 'hello' comment before you move on to the 'Queen of snoop's' blog and join in the WOYWW fun [and of course to find out more if you are the one person in the world that hasn't heard what WOYWW is yet].

WOYWW....

Good morning blogging friends.
Another busy week has passed and we are back to the best day of the week when we all have a good snoop round lots of crafting spaces.  If you are here by chance and don't know what I mean then please pop over to Julia's blog and join in the fun.

Last Saturday saw the last of our new carpets going down so we are now able to get a little more straight and furniture and pics can now be put back where they live.  I have bought some lovely new Really Useful Boxes for my sewing room to organise our shop craft items in when we get what doesn't get sold this Saturday at the Montgomery Craft Fair....of course we are really hoping it all gets sold and we can then restock my lovely new boxes with fresh items  :-)

Today I have put my card toppers out and have made a start at making them into cards but alas I have to clear my rail before I do any more and I'm afraid to say my 'to do' rail is heaving today.  I have everything from jackets to shorten the sleeves on and a curtain to shorten to trousers and skirts all needing altering so it may be a while before I get back to my card making.

I have already had to shorten a huge pair of patio door curtains this week and make a huge pair [280 cm long!] of double width voile curtains so I am on curtain overload!....here's the proof!.....just remind me girls to never offer to make huge voile curtains again cos they were really horrid to make.  The voile slips and slides and is impossible to measure accurately.

So now girls when you're having fun visiting all the other blogs just think of me clearing the sewing mountain before I can have my fun  :-)

Thanks for dropping in and for leaving your lovely comments.  I will do my best to get round as many of you as I can over the next few days.
