I was missing in action last week....I was here but I was busy catching up on my holiday washing and my sewing room had a good clean and dust so I had nothing to share with you of interest. Since our hols it's been pretty quiet on the work front [I guess all my customers are enjoying their hols too] so I have been finishing the batch of charity bags for Margaret that I had already cut out .....
....all 46 bags are now finished and boxed up ready to take with me to the crop.... and I will await Margaret's instructions now for when they need more.
So what's on my desk today?...
The drawers filled with my acrylic paints are out and so are my Promarkers and permanent felt pens.
What am I busy making?....
Little Theo has a 2nd birthday up and coming [where has that time gone?!!] and his mummy has asked me to make him some little peg people for part of his birthday present.....and you just know how much I love making those so here's 20 in different stages of being made.
If I remember I will take a photo when I've finished them but as I like to make them in stages giving paint time to dry before painting the next colour it may be a while.
So that's all from me for today....a little more interesting than just a rail full of sewing eh? Please leave me a little message so I know you've called in and I will do my best to call by at yours to see what you're up to this week.
Hugs,
Annie x

WOW 46 bags...you are a like a little factory that has a 1 person worker. Little peg people ! Fun to be had with them, and 2 again time flies by, here our schools start up next week. My niece's little girl was just 1 when I last saw her 6 months ago, seems like yesterday and she's walking all over. Have a great WOYWW kinda of day.

Love your peg people - cannot wait for the big reveal when they are finished.
That sure is a lot of bags! Well done you.
Your little Ikea drawers are like my wall hung ones, the outer cases make cubby holes and the inners make more.
Hugs to all three of you, Neet 6 xx
Loving the peg dolls but wondering if their is more of a plan there as they look as though they might belong to some little village. Customers might be on holiday but can't imagine you will have time to get bored Lol! Thanks for the visit and happy woyww, Angela x12x

That's an amazing number of bags, Margaret will be pleased to get those to be sent to Uganda. The bag front left, I have some of that material, seemed to be a lot of it around.

2??? How can he possible be turning 2, he was only born a short while ago.....blimey, time really is rushing by. Love those little peg dolls, he'll adore playing with those! You've done so well with those bags, they're amazing and for such a good cause too. Looking forward to seeing you at the Crop soon! Sorry I'm late replying, I was out all day on a WI Trip!

Oh Annie, I didn't manage to participate yesterday but I did have a quick peak to see what you've been up to! Those bags are amazing - there's going to be 46 very happy little students shortly. Theo is going to be thrilled with all those little peg people. I wonder what his mummy has in mind too - something special I'm sure if it involves little people. Hopefully I'll do better next week. Hugs, Ellie xx
PS: Just over two weeks to the crop :)
That should be 'three weeks' - getting a bit carried away there!!!
