This week's smiles.....week 265

It's been another week filled with smiles for me this week....everything from a new mattress for our bed to happy, satisfied customers and a special afternoon spent with little Theo.  My photos for this week are of the promise of things to come......have I told you just how much I love Spring?

We have had some really lovely sunny spells over the last week and the daffodils are in full bloom now but the rest of the garden is springing into life too....just look how much promise of things to come we've got.

Do you remember the tiny plant Sam brought me a few weeks back?  Well, I've watered it and taken off the dead flower heads as they have bloomed and just look at it now....I keep it on the windowsill in my sewing room and it makes me smile every time I look at it.....plus there lots more little buds to come out yet.

Isn't nature wonderful?

That's all from me for this week.  I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend filled with smiles.
Hugs,
Annie x

My hyacinths are doing good, my tulips have only leaves, and my keyboard isn't working properly. Hope you are having a wonderful day. Happy Easter, too.

Spring is finally on its way. Your plants look lovely, especially Sam's little violets.
And yes, a new mattess would make me smile too. It's such a hidden delight whjen you finally get it right and sleep so much better. We bought new mattresses for the single beds in the guest room. There was a special offer for memory foam mattresses and as my mum had to sleep on one of those, we decided to splash out and get memory foam. Then on one occasion we had to sleep on them ourselves. We clipped the two single beds together as they do on the continent. I tell you, it was the best night sleep we had in a long time! So as soon as we had the money, we bought a new mattress for ourselves. We haven't looked back. Bliss!
Have a great Easter weekend,
Lisca

Black pansies, Annie - how gorgeous are they and you're clearly taking very good care of them too. Your garden photos have reminded me that I have some Snakes Head Fritillary plants somewhere in my garden ... will have to take a closer look - just as soon as the sun comes out again. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Ellie xx
