WOYWW...

Here we are at another fun day of the week when we all go snooping at other creative spaces to check out the talents around the world.  If you don't know what I'm talking about [then where have you been for the last 5 years?] please pop over to Julia's at the Stamping Ground and check out the details.  It's free, fun and totally voluntary but does come with a health warning....If you join in you will be back because it's totally addictive :-)

So here's my desk for today...

My  window storage boxes have been slid across so I can watch the bird feeders through the gap that the birds have now found and the box on the left is now full to over flowing with the things I have made using the gifted fabric.  They will be on sale at a craft sale in Pontesbury on 4th October and the money will be given to charity so please call in if you're passing.

Since last week I have made.....

More little fabric boxes.

14 little fabric Christmas tree decorations.

A taggy dinosaur.  :-)

A taggy lion.  :-)

I made a piece of random patchwork with some gorgeous soft brushed fabric then made 4 lined, zipped purses / bags out of the fabric.

So there you go folks.  As you can see I've had a busy week creatively.  Most of my makes were taken from ideas found on Pinterest....where would we be without it for inspiration?  I have 400 new fliers going out this week to let folk know I'm back in business with sewing but have already had my first new customer since we moved so word is already getting out there.

We spent the weekend clearing a space in the back garden to make room for a new shed  to give us a bit more storage and we had a visit from an architect on Tuesday night to start the ball rolling on the alterations to our new bungalow.....it's so exciting.  By the time we have the plans drawn up and passed it will probably be after Christmas before we start to knock down / make a mess / build  but there is no rush....we are going nowhere!

Thanks for calling by today.  Please leave me a little hello message to let me know you've been and I will do my best to call by as soon as I get a minute to see what you've been up to this week.

Hugs,
Annie x

Hi Annie, love those awesome fabric boxes! In fact, they are all wonderful. I can well understand why you might want all the mess making of alterations after Christmas, rather than before. Its horrendous how much dust is created, and how long it lingers for. Thanks for all the good wishes, they really worked! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #26 xx

You are SO generous, Annie. First you clothed about half the girls in Africa, then you provided quilts for children in hospitals, and now you are making gifts for charity. You are too, too good to be true.

BTW, where did you find tiny zippers? Sorry not playing either WOYWW or Friday Smiles, but will be back the first Friday in Oct.

Hi Annie - very exciting, with all the stuff about the alterations - I do hope you can get cracking on them soon. That's an amazing stash of goodies you've been making there - I do hope they go well, and you make pots of money from them. Hugs, Chris # 29

Oh Annie, I just wish I had half of your energy (and talent). Lots of lovely things made on your sewing machine, and, clearing a space in the garden. And I bet you have still done cleaning washing, cooking etc.
You are a human dynamo.
Lots of Love

Oh I'm glad I found your blog via WOYWW. I loved looking at all your creations. Then I read you live in Shropshire. I love Shropshire. Until last year I have been to the Preston Montford Field Centre every July on a lacemakers course. On the way we would stop in Ludlow because there they have a shop that sells lovely fabric.
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.

Hi Annie, Those decorations are fabulous, I started one of those last Christmas and never got it finished, somehow time got the better of me.
Your space looks good, and I just love those boxes on the window sill.
Thanks for dropping by my desk, never mind that you are commenting on Thursday, I have only just made it here on Sunday.
