WOYWW....

Another week has passed and life is never boring here.

It has included....

  • another emergency A and E visit for one of my grandchildren....this time it was Lulu's turn when she nearly took the end of her finger off in a door.  An A and E visit on Thursday and another visit to the children's ward the following day for surgery to have it sewn back on and so far so good as they say!!!....photos to follow on Friday but nothing too gory  I promise.
  • Two twinny days this week....lots of fun and giggles and a trip to see some animals with them Tuesday afternoon cos Granddad was off work too....special memories were made.
  • another gorgeous ATC has arrived from Peggy out there in the Philippines.  Thank you so much....I love it.  You are so very talented.
  • The booking of a week's holiday  :-)  We are heading south to near Trowbridge and hoping to catch up with some very special blogging friends.....you know who you are :-)   It will be wonderful to put a few faces to the people I have called friends for years.
So on my desk this week is....

A pile of dress making fabrics that I hope to make some new tops with ready for my holidays......
I just need to find the time....does anyone know where it's hiding?

That's all from me for today folks.  I have lots of catching up to do and have a Dr's appointment this morning for another blood test and a weigh in.....wish me luck please  :-)

Update.....I've lost another 4lbs!!!! that's 2 bags of sugar less I am carrying around with me and I have now actually lost the same in weight as Lexi weighs!!!!  Wahhoooooo....doing a happy dance here.  :-)

I will do my best to pop by to say hello as soon as I can but til then....have a great week.

Hugs,
Annie xxx

OOh! Poor little Lulu, hope all is well and she is non- the-worse for her accident now. Must have been a very worrying time for all of you.
Look forward to seeing some photos of the twins with the animals and grand dad - am hoping you will post some on Fridays Smiles.
Sorry I can't help with finding time, that damned elusive time! Have a lovely time in Trowbridge when you go and good luck with the tops you are making. Wish I could sew like you do.
Hugs to you both Neet xx 9

Oh, poor Lulu! My son accidentally squashed his little sister's finger in the door when they were small - tiny fingers are so vulnerable! Your fabrics look wonderful. There is something so appealing about towers of gorgeous textiles waiting to be turned into magic! Julie Ann #55

Oooh! I feel it for Lulu and I do hope she's on the mend by now. It must have been so traumatic for her and everyone involved. Hope you get your tops ready... you need that holiday and with all the amazing weight loss you also will be needing new clothes to fit.

And so you should be doing a happy dance Annie, you’ve done tremendously well……..keep up the good work.
My diet went out the window weeks ago but as of Monday I was back on it, so we shall see.
Love the fabrics you’ve chosen for your tops, especially the Peachy, Blue

I hope that Lulu is ok after her frightening experience. It's just as well they forget quickly and bounce back isn't it.

Happy Crafting!

Poor Lulu.... my sister did something similar with the dining table which was extendable, and slid shut on her fingers somehow (she and my brother were playing where they shouldn't!!) Well done on the weight loss too. Have a good week. Helen 17

Hi Annie! Thanks for letting me know that I left a comment at the wrong post...I say blame Mr. Linky, right? Anyway I'm glad I got to the right post and oh poor baby! It just hurts to see our babies hurt. Congrats on the weight loss. I'm trying but only 1 pound so far, baby steps. You sure have had a busy week and the fabric looks fun, I love fabric! As for time, I think it's with the missing socks from the washing machine! Rasz #111

So this time, a comment on the right blog post!! Sorry about that - I thought I had seen the other one before...
Trust Lulu is now doing OK - takes me back to the time our elder daughter trapped her finger in the car door - HORRID time - but she is fine now.
A holiday - wonderful - have fun with anticipating it by making those tops!!
Did you recognise any of the dresses? Louise spoke so highly of the pair of you when we met last week!!
Have a great week.

Congrats on losing 4 lbs!!! I think I've found them.Yours is the 2nd ATC I've seen by Peggy this week. She is very talented. What a bunch a great fabric, I love that White fabric with the Blue & Green in it. That would so make and awesome 40's style pencil dress.
I've enjoyed stopping by. Have a great weekend. (((HUGS)))

Hope your little granddaughter is recovering well. Such a horrid thing to happen and so easy to do. Well done on that weight loss, keep up the good work. I am not using scales, just judging myself by my clothes which are starting to fall off (need to get the sewing machine out to alter them) and by the fact that my watch is now very loose on my wrist. Have a good week. xx Maggie #10
