Bridal department challenge.....

Spring is upon us and we are feeling perky and productive. It's the season for romance and wedding plans. So, we are taking the bridal theme for our latest challenge and we are hoping to involve all our blogging friends as well. We are planning to launch a Bridal department in our blog shop in the next few weeks.
The above pic shows some of the beautiful items we already make. These include bridal keepsakes, like hearts and little bears, ring cushions, wedding memory journals, wedding cards and brooches. So, now we want to extend our range so that we can create a new, well stocked bridal shelf.
We both have lots of ideas but would like to throw the challenge open to you wonderful, creative folk out there. We would appreciate your comments/feedback and any ideas, on a bridal theme, you have to offer.
We will give a little gift to the 3 ideas we like the best, so please put your thinking caps on.
We have had such lovely feedback and brilliant ideas that have helped us over the last months and feel we have made some wonderful friends through the contact you have made with us. Thanks lots.

Such pretty things you have there to tempt the bride!

I just made a book box and am filling it with bits for my own wedding pics... little album, tag book, chiboard shapes and frames etc...

left a book of ideas at twiglet's, I might have not gotten it posted so if I messed it up, it included pretty or funky garters, petty or funky small clutches or jewelry bags for bride or bridal party. think about things a bride could give her bridal party as gifts, color co-ordinated totes, jewelry bags, cozzies(either for beer or coffee drinkers, depends on friends, lol!
deco'd gloves or hair acessories for little girls, big girls don't do hair things much anymore. group things by themes, think elegant and pretty but also think retro, think vintage. are you offering personalization or monogramming. keep in mind not all brides are into satin and lace. Good luck! cyndi

All the items shown are absolutely beautiful Annie ;) I'm not good with those sorts of ideas but if I do think of anything I'll pop back.
I thought you and Twiglet were making skirts for yourselves :) Great job on the skirt, I'm sure the customer will be delighted.
Looks like I'm having to make a Viking costume for my granddaughter, not sure whether it's for Monday or Tuesday at the mo' but I'm hoping Tuesday. At least it doesn't have to be anything fancy!
Thanks for the comment on my blog :)

Oh wow, you two girls have been really busy!

How about satin and lace draw string bags for confetti for the bridesmaids to carry or the guests

Covered horseshoes, you know, the way you covered the frames a couple of weeks back. Not sure if people still give them at weddings because it’s a long time since I went to one.

Special ‘Bride & Groom’ napkins for the top table.

Can’t think of anything else off hand but if I do I’ll let you know.

What about lovely wedding-y corsages? I've seen some satin ones in white/cream/pastel colours with beads, ribbon, lace etc, I'm sure the possibilities are endless - I've seen wrist corsages too. The only other idea I had was place-setting cards as I've seen those in a shop (you see, none of my own ideas - stolen ideas!) xx

i love the idea of the dumfed albums but maybe you could do them in the colour of the person's wedding colours?? also i love the material on the hearts - could you do hangers with them - it would be lovely to have a special hanger for that special dress!!!!
