It's a girl....

Isn't technology amazing. My daughter went for her gender scan on Saturday and wahooooooooo it's a little girl, a little sister for P. We are all soooooooo excited. They didn't have such clever things when we had ours but I'm really happy to move with the times. They found out the sex last time and it allowed us to really get to know little P before she was born. They were able to get all those pretty dresses ready and really prepare her world. They just have to think of a name now and we can really get to know this one..... And of course what is most important is they were able to reassure mum that the baby has no physical deformities and, as far as they can see is perfectly normal. Even down to they could see she was sucking her thumb :-)

I remember when I had mine they were not allowed to tell you but we asked about youngest and were told if its a girl then she'd certainly cause a stir at school in the showers after sports!!

I have a girl. (as you know) Utter joy. I'm sure I'd say that if I had a boy too. But I'm very happy for you all. Oh and a baby in the family - how lovely!

Hi all, many thanks for your kind thoughts. It's such a lovely time for young folk with so much to look forward too but also for Nanny Annie cos I'm such a softie for little ones. Can't wait :-) Thankfully I'm beginning to feel more like me now healthwise...just need to finish this megga course of antibiotics [yuck they taste awful!]. Mountainear...you are more than welcome to call in [and of course that goes for the rest of you too :-)].A x

WOnderful news, Wipso!
My son came first with a photograph after some weeks and yeah! a small child was to be seen. Then he came with the next news some weeks later on Dec. 6th: they were two! A month later we were told: it's girls! Then I went off bying the first wee things for the wee girls.... until I was told that doctors had overlooked an important item ---- now we have two wee healthy boys.
Hope your doctors had a better vision ;-)

Congratulations! My brother & sister-in-law had a little girl 3 weeks ago, but we didn't know if she was going to be a little girl or a little boy until she arrived :)
